tuning bbc channels

I want to tune in BBC 2 Wales and BBC 2 Northern Ireland on my BT vision Box. I can get these channels on the same arieal on another freeview tv but not on the bt box
So is there a manual tuner on a BT vision Box ?
If so how do I access it?

There is no manual tuning option on BT Vision but if the box is receiving duplicate channels from multiple transmitters then the extra versions are relocated to the 8xx region of the EPG. You can then add those to your Favourites list so that you won't have to scroll for ages or type in the channel number to jump to an 8xx channel.

Agree with the above.

Or another way to do it is press TV Guide then press 8, 0, 0, to get to TV channel 800, then just check what channels the box gets from 800 upwards.

Just to update on my query
I connected a signal booster to the aeriel and this enables me to get BBC2 Wales and SC4, so now I can watch the rugby
The areal lead in the room is quite a distance from the aereal so I guess there is a signal loss because of the distance.
