I was pondering this today what was the point with all the daddy Doug stuff the week before they broke up the ducks and the refrences to Lucas getting into bed with them. Was it to make Ste's choice even harder?cause even though I knew Stendan was happening it was confusing and must have been to the normal viewers.

Yes. I don't think Amuh's approval is high on his list. Although could make 'family' time a bit difficult. They'll have to hide all the really sharp knives and things
Oh if we ever get to see Amy find out, it willl be like friends Ste will be sitting there with the phone on the table reading a mag or something. Or he walks off and Leah picks up the phone while she's still shouting

I liked the sort of eyeroll he gave, like he was thinking "Chicken!" but he knows what she's like and what her reaction would be, so he knows Ste's got a point

It's not gruesome but it is pretty creepy, at least the book was, the film might be full of cannibals for all I know.
