Adam had a dislocated rib and where would we be without that?

She will have painkilling injections - Strictly dancers have had these in the past. INjection will numb the area - it will hurt like hell tomorrow.

And what few people realise is that adrenalin, the hormone that is released under stress, is itself a painkiller.

Adam dislocated his rib, but First Aid in those days was so primitive it was done with a machete, or sabre tooth tiger tooth, so the offending rib came out, then it had to be recycled somehow to stop polluting the rest of the Garden of Eden.

Hmm

Sincerely hope I don't believe all that!

Denise did not seem to be struggling in a lift from their show dance practice. Her knee however is quite clearly strapped up.”

The post I was talking about is follows.

"it is slightly far fetched to think she is dancing after a correction of a dislocated rib actually .It is a very painful prodceedure and leaves pain and bruising in its wake".

There is only two options from this post imo (a) Denise is not telling the truth or (b) if she is telling the truth she will be too injured to dance.

Or alternatively what happens when you dodge samba with James.....

or even what happens when you don't dodge samba with James.

There's also (c) Denise was mistaken:-

Remember, that Denise will have repeated what she was told. She could have misremembered. Hardly surprising, considering that she was probabably worried/medicated up to the eyeballs at the time.

(d) The reporter misreported or outright exaggarated it:-

Happens all the time.

or

(e) The Strictly bods bigged the whole thing up:-

It wouldn't be the first time an injury was bigged up by TPTB in order to get publicity for the show, votes for the contestant and ratchet up the drama with a "Will she/he be able to dance with their serious injury?".

(c), (d) and (e) would be none of Denise's fault, but end up with the readers/viewers being misinformed.

Exactly. Either way a full blown dislocated rib should not have her able to dance.

Or c , d, e , f, g. or h ,
misheard , misunderstood , misinformed ,was using the wrong word , thinks a sublux is the same as dislocation , remembered wrong , it was misreported , it was exaggerated . Who bloody well knows why it was said .
At no stage did I ever say once that Denise was lieing .I said it was far fetched to think she was dancing with a corrected dislocation .Its still far fetched but there could be many reasons why she said it
But you are like a dog with a bone determined to make me out to be a baddie .Suit yourself and your agenda .I know what I meant and what I mean and none of it was saying she lied .
.

Thank you to Monaogg and others who have supported me and defended me from being painted as calling anyone a lier

There is very little wrong with Denise's ribs judging by her showdance.

If I understand this in the way I think .... Some people are so biased it hurts. You are calling Denise a liar. There's no way that would have floated through the BBC studios unchallenged. A long time ago I played a crucial rugby trial with a broken rib, ignored the pain and some time afterwards went to the Liverpool infirmary! Denise was superb.

But she did claim on ITT that it was dislocated and then James said that it was fixed now??!!????!!!!!

I guess neither of them will be going for medical degrees any time soon. But they were also the ones complaining about her having whiplash the first time they had to do the jive. When my Dad got it had to wear a collar or weeks on end and was in serious pain for about a month. But with her it was ok by Saturday and never mentioned again!!!!!
