I was wondering why there was nothing from Corrie at this years Children In Need (hasn't been anything from ED for years IIRC) If this Text Santa is going to be a regular occurance they must be keeping them for their own charity fund raiser.

Looking forward to watching them now (rec it to watch later so I can fast forward through the ads!)

Corrie was SUPERB.

One of the best things I've seen in a long time, loved every second of it.

Was great.

I thought it was better than the themed singing and dancing CIN forces upon Eastenders every year. Stick to acting!

My God.. even for charity, the Emmerdale cast were embarassing. Reminds me of the Neighbors cast singing on Australian television at an awards show.

I just realised the new vet on Emmerdale is Lizzie from The Royal - another one from the Royal to go with Jude the vicar (Alan) and Alicia who played a nurse in The Royal.
Wonder who'll be next!

Loved the Corrie one, with Mike, Maxine, Derek and Vera popping up. Still miss Derek!

I enjoyed the Coronation Street one, but story wise I was on Norris' side on the whole situation. But it was great having Mike Baldwin, Maxine Peacock, Derek Wilton and Vera Duckworth especially back for it. Did Peter Baldwin actually return to do filming for it or was it archived footage? Because its great him and Malcolm Hebden worked together again after 15 years.
