Who remembers McVities Gold bars?
These used to be around in the 80's/90's, I quite liked them
They were a biscuit bar with some kind of butterscotch/caramel sweet covering which I thought was really nice at the time (kinda like that old Caramac bar I guess), I bought some from Poundland the other day and thought they were still pretty nice ![]()

I liked them. If it is within your power and reason for the thread. Do bring them back

![]() I like them as well but they're too fattening and addictive. I just tend to avoid that area of the supermarket in general.. |

Gold bars can still be bought in Sainsburys. My mum loves them and will devour them by the multipack!!

They are quite sweet and sickly I have to say, but I liked them when I had them the other day - I just bought another pack of 9

You can still buy Gold bars, but not Trio. I used to love Bar Six, wish they would bring that back. And United, remember them?

Yeah you can still get Breakaway bars I think.
I once got one that was actually just solid chocolate, no biscuit ![]()
