He got a lot of support from a lot of people....In fairness you can't really claim he only had support from a small crowd of Star Wars fans...well, you can claim it obviously but that just fits your opinion because you don;t want to accept he was popular

Whoa, whoa, whoa Mesostim.... calm down. I don't actually care enough about him to hate him, and there isn't much there to hate or love eitherway.
I would regard my criticism as fair but quite mild really, so I don't know why you are being so touchy. If he doesn't mind people having a go at him, then why are you so defensive on his behalf?
Of course I'm just expressing my opinions and what I think - as are you - and as far as the whole BB lot are concerned, I'd happily spend nine weeks in the house with him than the vast majority of the others.
Compared to Jade, Jonny, Spencer, Kate, PJ etc etc the man is a saint, genuine and decent and very much a gentleman. But TV star, no. Genius, no. Entertaining outside the house, sadly no.
Worst of all, I think that the people who consider themselves his "fans" do so in a patronising way - they treat him as a pet - a harmless nerd, "The Tickle", a figure of fun, like a new Magnus Pyke or Patrick Moore to be treasured and laughed at at the same time.
I'm just glad for him he got dropped into the dull BB4 lot, and not the thoroughly nasty BB3 bunch or the freak show that was BB5.
