Very interesting question - we love the pros on this forum and probably invest as much in them as we do in the celebs, if not more in the case of those who have been around for a while. I guess it depends on what they have all done to 'deserve' a win.
Flavia - the most patient of all the pros left, I think. She has had some contenders and some duffers and has produced some good, if not terribly memorable (for me) choreography. I love to watch her dance (particularly in the AT, natch), but I don't think of her as an outstanding teacher or choreographer.
Pasha - has produced some stunning dances, particularly last year for Chelsee, but some lovely ones for Kimberley this year, too. Absolutely adored the AS and the fusion dance was the most clever of all the offerings that week. I suppose he 'deserves' a win because of that choreography, but he's been gifted with some good contenders.
Vincent - not my favourite pro by a long way - that 'everybody loves me' schtick is getting more than a little tiresome - but he has produced some lovely dances for Dani, particularly that charming VW and, of course, the AT. But I give him credit for not letting his smile slip when he was paired with Edwina Curry last year, and he has proved his worth over the years.
James - everybody's whipping-boy on this forum, but I like him a lot. He is, apparently, very well liked by the back-stage people at Strictly, which always demonstrates true character, I think. His choreography is not always my favourite, but it is clever - just enough to impress, but not enough to flummox the celebrity. He appears to be an excellent teacher and has certainly put in the graft over the years. So James gets my vote. Sadly, he and Denise won't win, but then how many people get what they deserve anyway?
