Totally agree! Denise is the nicest 'Essex Girl' about - I simply don't understand the hatred and vitriol directed against someone who is far the best DANCER, (with Kimble 2nd for improvement).

Denise and Louis have been my joint favourites since week one and I'd love to see either of them win but, as you say, it's a popularity contest (and entertainment show) so more people are voting for Louis than Denise, have enjoyed watching these two couples dance so much but will be a nervous wreck waiting for the results

Sadly, I don't expect Denise to win because it's totally down to the GBP's 'popularity' vote, and absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the dancing
Based purely on dancing she should be ahead after the first two dances. Her showdance was along with Louis' IMO one of the best two of the night, while her Jive was vastly superior to his Salsa and fully deserved its score of 40.

They've been mine since the first time I saw them dance, but I think Louis is a 'shoe in' to win with the judges doing their best to help him (I didn't like either of his dances - STILL no personality or showmanship).

Yes, Kimberley for me all the way, I think that Kimberley, Denise and Louis are all good dancerss but Kimberley is not so desperate to win as the other two, she is the most improved for me and also seems to enjoy herself the most with Pasha her partner than the other two.
So I will be voting for Kimberley to win!

I like a show dance to have dancing but the WOW factor too. That doesn't automatically mean lifts though, as Tom and Camilla's is my favourite. However. Denise's show dance was so fast that the fantastic lifts blinded viewers to just how much dancing the routine contained. the lifts were very controlled too, no flinging in sight. I suspect it will be a show dance that look so much better if it's watched back.
Dani had lots of dancing (but sadly not performed that well) , but I wouldn't agree that Kimberley's did - not recognisable moves anyway!

But show dances are about lifts and flinging people! That's what sets it apart from the others. Yes, there should be dancing in it too. But dancing is more than being in hold and stepping to a beat. It's about rhythm, movement, action, dynamics. Show dance isn't a ballroom dance IMHO and shouldn't be treated as such.
