1) The judges have spent the last few weeks trying to convince us that Kim is great. I'm glad she didn't win.

2) The showdances were all pretty dire. Kim's was a bad Beyonce routine, yet the judges fawned over it.

3) Dani wasn't the best dancer. However, the Tango wasn't a good choice. I feel like she was screwed over.

4) No second/third place announced. Nonsense.

5) Overall the standard of dancing this year has been pretty poor.

1. Kimberley nailed her Eros spins!!! Her VW should have been a 40.
2. Enjoyable prodance.
3. I would've prefered to have watched Dani's jive instead of Robbie Williams or the GBP VT.
4. All this nonsense about past experience from theatre training, stage school and what happens? Gymnastics training wins the SCD Glitterball. LOL
Nice to see Flavia ecstatic though.

4 Darcey trying not to burst Brucie's bubble about ballet - he doesn't have a high enough instep for ballet, you stupid man, don't you know ANYTHING!!!! And how dare you suggest someone can just start ballet at 23 in a starring role, you NUMBSKULL, just because they won SCD, you FOOL
5 Poor Dani and Vincent - what a time to produce your absolute worst choreography and performance!

1) Underwhelming final with a predictable result.
2) Please ditch the show dances.
3) Dani & Vincent were totally under-rehearsed but the best dance content.
4) Please go back to a 3 person final this just cemented a win for Louis so killed any tension.
5) Please can Bruce Go and Tess get a stylist.

Merry Christmas all. This has been a great thread.

1) Best final ever in terms of the quality of the performances with the sad exception of Dani and Vincent who didn't live up to expectations.
2) The showdances from Denise and James and Flavia and Louis were a-maz-ing. Both breathtaking in very different ways.
3) It is a popularity contest and not a dance contest. I'm just glad that Louis was at his best last night.
4) Robbie Williams has turned into a fat, middle-aged dad.
5) Brucie spoilt the last few minutes of a great final by being unnecessarily rude and controlling in his attempt to hog the spotlight as he presented the glitter ball. He should have just gone with the flow. I'm hoping he has the good grace to apologise.

1. Shame the weakest dancer of the three(or even 4) won. It won't be the last time

2. Time to ditch the showdances, there hasn't been a decent one since Lisa Snowden's

3. Thought Denise danced the best tonight

4. I wanted Dani And Vincent to win but she was very nervous and it showed.

1. Nice bit of control by the producers - get Brucie to shout at everyone at the presentation instead of rehearsing it properly.
2. Showdances can be anything but they never seem to be everything.
3. I'm sure Denise has improved a lot too , bit its more obvious with the others.
4. The repeated dances were the best bits - and the best dancing.
5. Nice dance by Artem and Aliona.

1. Happy for Flavia & Louis - the boy came good when it mattered.

2. Why did Brucie have to present the Glitterball??

3. Dani & Vincent's Showdance would have been better without the lifts.

4. Obviously the Ballroom dances (excluding Tango) not a favourite for most this year- such a shame.
Judges choice for Kimble should have been the Foxtrot rather than VW.

5. Have loved every week - no recording and fast forwarding for me. I have groaned at Brucie's jokes and WTF'd Tess's dresses.
Enjoyed Bruno's OTTness, disagreed with Craig and think Darcey is a good sport.

4. Anton was incredibly rude talking over Tess, and to Jerry, when Tess was talking to Dani and Vincent after their first dance. Thought that was disrespectful.

Didn't like their show dance, too frantic with the lifts and spins ( we all know these are Denise's strenghts)

Good gymnastic show dance, very clever Flavia

1) They should have got rid of Denise in a double elimination last week, like they would normally have done and had a 3 person final.

2) Not sure why Louis got to perform his 'salsa' again. It was a blatant rip off of Dirty Dancing the first time round and I didn't enjoy it any more second time round.

3) Feel sorry for Dani & Vincent. I wanted them to win but the nerves got to them - still really enjoyed their dances though. Bit rubbish of the judges to nit pick so bad (yes, I know it was the final) and rip them to shreds completely though.

4) Would like to see more dancing and less VTs, especially when the VTs are repeated 7 million times in one show (felt like it anyway).

5) Please leave showdance until last. I'm not sure 1 dance and then a show dance was enough to decide 'who should win' especially as the show dances are a lot more individual and personal. I'd rather see them be done last as a 'celebration' dance and not randomly half way through the final.

6) Allow more time for announcing winner / brief chat with runner(s) up / following celebrations with everyone. Seemed really rushed and not sure why as we had a 10 minute repeat of VTs before hand that we could have done with out.

7) The band and singers do a good job. Yes they sometimes murder the songs but it can't be easy and I don't think I could do what they do week after week.

8) Love the judges. I'm so glad that Craig is not always as '10 happy' as the others and Darcey seems to have settled in, I prefer her to Alesha.

9) Love Bruce and Tess hosting it. I don't find him funny half the time and he doesn't half waffle on but he seems to fit the show and I can't imagine any one else hosting it. Also Claudia, she's fab on the results show and I loved it when she co-hosted with Tess when Bruce took a week off.

10) That group dance with all this years contestants in was completely bizarre. Didn't like it one bit. Much rather see them all dance as couples individually for 20 seconds or something rather than that mess we got last night.

I quite enjoyed the final but did find it slightly underwhelming. It didn't seem to 'wow' me like some of the finals have but then I wasn't really bothered for half of the couples in it. Roll on Christmas special and SCD 2013....

1) Couldn't believe Darcey's comment "Denise you ARE a professional dancer!!!!" After all the pleaing from everyone that she had no advantage over the others and Darcey scuppered that in one sentence

3) Felt nothing from Lewis and Flavia show dance and was WTF at his pants/leggings/trousers???!
4) Felt for Dani and Vincent but they were poor on the night, don't think Tango was a good choice.

1. I was prepared to go with the flow and just enjoy it without being nit-picky or get aerated at the judges' scoring. So I did.

2. I knew Louis was odds-on to win so was resigned to him winning; I enjoyed his showdance more than I expected to and was pleased for Flavia.

3. I would have preferred Kimberley to win, her VW was beautiful and her tango pin-sharp and I didn't mind her showdance. She danced with more joie de vivre than the others.

4. Bruce was an embarrassment and comes across as an evermore cranky, crabby old man with a decreasing attention span who is losing his professionalism by the week.

5. When will posters realise that in a live show with real-time voting, a certain amount of "pointless filler" is necessary to allow time for the votes to be counted and verified? The whinging on here about filler is more annoying than the VTs themselves.
