I liked it, I was convinced that she was going to win, I never thought that Louis was going to win, although I am so glad he did.

Pasha looked to almost drop her during that second lift which surprised me. Overall, it looked a bit sloppy and over wrought with lifts. (Gotta blame Pasha for that too). It really wouldn't have mattered. Louis has had the competition stitched up since mid-competition at the latest. His showdance just reaffirmed it.

It really did, I was expecting a lot and it was a huge disappointment .
Pasha is not very good at choreographing showdances Im afraid. Not only did it look like he was struggling to lift her in some places but also I thought she was going to fall at some point during it .

Kimberley was undoubtedly the most consistently over-scored contestant in Strictly history. Didn't deserve a single 40 series-long; Denise deserved at least 8 perfect 40s. A shame SCD female voters can't be objective with their voting. Denise will go down in SCD history as the best dancer not to win.

I too thought her last dance let her down. Up to then I thought she was the winner.

It was fairly poorly executed and forgettable, but I still preferred it to Louis' ''I'll take my top off and do a spot of human weightlifting" Showdance.

Not for me,I loved it and at least it had a lot of Latin content. They were dancing to "crazy in love",not slighty bemused in love or mildly interested in love, they really went for it but sadly it wasn't enough on the night.I thought however their VW was the best complete performance of the night.

I am sure that the showdance makes no difference to the result. (Despite what people say) however this is the second stinker of a showdance choreographed by Pasha which is very very dissapointing

Are we talking about a different Denise? Because the one I saw was great at ballroom and half the Latin dances, but the other half were sorely lacking in hip action of any kind, and her cha cha wasn't great either.
Kimberley's tango last night was fab- really, really great- that did deserve 40.

I don't think it did - I enjoyed it the most, along with Denise's. Kimberley's was more of a SHOW dance compared to Louis' and contained more dance content than Louis', who seemed to just stand there while Flavia was doing AT moves, and no doubt took his top off to win votes. I just don't understand how people thought Louis' was good, all he did was stand there and lift her wearing no top and tight trousers. It didn't deserve 40 at all.

Have to be honest. Next morning I didn't even remember her dance without a struggle.

So I tried hard and came up with:
black outfit
Pasha doing a lot of gyrating
long, awkward moments before she burst through a screen
seemed to trip as she emerged
awful dress
just didn't gel as I still can't remember the dancing

So I think she was far the poorest of the 3 in that element of the competition. Did it cost her? I doubt it as Louis was surely favourite. But it wasn't pretty.

Chelsee's showdance last year was a complete letdown too. Only one thing in common, Beyonce obviously ruins the moment.

Sorry - she can't quite claim that title from Lisa Snowdon, who really was appallingly overmarked ...

However, I do think Kimberley was overhyped and overpraised when her mistakes were clear. That showdance was a major mistake, especially after Vincent had done such a clever Beyonce homage earlier in the series and 'Crazy In Love' is so closely identified with Alesha's success.

I can't help wondering what would have happened had Kimberley been paired with someone else ... there was so little chemistry between her and Pasha.

Louis was odds on with all the bookies and on something like this, when they are down to the final four, they are very rarely wrong.

It's an entertainment show unfortunately there is no perfect solution to the voting system.

If you give some weighting to the judges opinions, they get crucified for ignoring the public vote, and alienate people from watching the next series.

If you go with the public vote it obviously turns into a popularity contest.

Don't think she tripped, I think the fire was still there

Many will disagree.

Honestly i thought Kimberley had it in the bag, she built momemtum and was beating Louis in every poll this week. But after Louis' showdance the bookies changed the odds and Louis got alot more support on ds than he had all week. But i do think Kim is a fabulous dancer and she was genuinely happy for Louis. Well done to her.

Loved her show dance and love her. She has the wow factor for sure.
Think Louis was always going to win and his show dance just confirmed it.

I think it was just like last year where going into the final Chelsee was in pole position to win, just like Kimberley this year, but on the night both girls didn't have the wow factor and lost momentum, allowing harry and Louis to come in and pinch it at the finish line

It was too frenetic with a lot of head/hair swinging going on ... I thought Pasha struggled a couple of times with the lifts too.
Too much Beyonce imitating and nothing original.
Reminded me of Alesha`s showdance - which I wasn`t keen on either although she was my fav that year.

Tom Chambers certainly hasn`t lost the crown for the best showdance imo.

This is exactly what I said to my husband as I watched it - it could have been a dance routine done on a Girls Aloud concert, so did not really expand her skills. Pity she had made such great progress and I enjoyed her dancing.
I think I was saying the same thing to my friend! And for all those who say Louis was a dead cert to win - perhaps if he was the favourite but in personal terms, I changed my mind and went from backing Kimberly to backing Louis. Kimberly's Girls Aloud dance put me off

Tom Chambers' showdance remains the gold-standard for me, Tissy.

Kimble's wasn't great.

Pasha, that's two in a row you've mucked up. I loved Chelsee and wanted her to win but her showdance was 50 shades of naff too.

Louis's was calm & collected & perfect.
Yes, loved it, and for those who think being a gymnast makes lifts easy, think again. He has the strength from his sport, but his branch of it doesn't involve lifting anyone else. Both he and Flavia have had to learn them, though undoubtedly with the help of a great coach. It took a lot of bravery from Flavia as well.

It is possible to love bland people.
But you'd usually have a more flattering way of describing it if you loved them!

Liked Kimberley, didn't like the show dance which seemed all over the place and frantic (agree re Alesha's too).

I'm a huge fan of Denise but I don't agree with this.
