Although I thought Denise outperformed Louis in the judges' choice dance and their favourite dance, Louis's show dance was truly exceptional, the best ever on Strictly so for that alone he deserved to win. I don't know how anyone can begrudge him his win.
For me, yes. Leaving everything else aside, I thought he performed his judges choice dance better than any of the others who all looked like they were struggling with nerves (and I was really impressed with how much new content they'd added). The showdance blew me away. Remembering that we're voting for couples, I was so impressed with Flavia's choreography, she was the only pro to produce something special in the showdance. Pasha disappointed me again, wish he'd try something other than a lift filled routine to Beyonce. Kim was the best in the couples favourite dance, but Louis & Flavia for dancing, performing & choreography edged it overall.
Shame as it became quite clear weeks ago women were voting based on looks rather than ability. Seems women are as shallow as men when push come to shove..
I wanted Denise to win.
I think Kimberley should've won and deserved to win.
Louis, although a very likeable guy, who's improved greatly as the series has gone on, I just don't think was at the same standard as Denise and Kimberley.
The same is true of Dani. Lovely person, great performances, great improvement, but she simply wasn't at the same level as Kimberley and Denise.
So I think it's rather odd to see Louis and Dani 1st and 4th, with the superior dancers sandwiched inbetween in 2nd and 3rd.
On dancing and entertainment value I feel it really should've been Kimberley.
I think Kimberley should've won and deserved to win.

I didn't think Kimberley deserved to win. Her showdance was pretty awful and as for Louis being overmarked - have you been watching every week? A lot of weeks he was undermarked. The last two weeks Kimberley was overmarked. Her charleston had mistakes - she was out of step with Pasha and yet got a perfect score of 40! Louis' foxtrot was beautiful and yet Craig had to mention his thumb and only score it a 9. Did Craig not notice Kimberley's mistakes?
Louis' jive was undermarked. No it wasn't great but for it to get the same score as Lisa's out of time, out of step mess of a dance was ridiculous.
No way is Louis smug or arrogant. He comes across as a lovely guy

Dani's showdance was awful. Awful messing about with a great song, awful dance and messy lifts. Her tango wasn't great either.
Louis dance was brilliant. It wasn't just gymnastics and the judges commented on that, saying there was a lot of dance steps.

I thought Louis was the best dancer. He was the one I wanted to watch every week, the one I enjoyed and the one whose dances I rewatched and no not because I think he is goodlooking.
Denise would have been a worthy winner but there was no way the public were ever going to vote for her to win. I am surprised she didn't go out first to be honest.
Dani's dances were not very good tonight and her showdance was awful.
Kimberley's showdance wasn't that great either.

Your opinion. I thought their showdance was brilliant. Dani's was awful, Kimberley's was sort of ok, Denise's was good but Louis was the best.

Was disappointed with Dani & Vincent tonight, so I thought the right three went through. Denise and Louis' show dances blew the other two out of the water, so I wanted one of them to win. I voted for Denise, but very happy Louis won because I love Flavia as a pro on the show.

In your opinion..which of course you are entitled to, however I thoroughly disagree. I thought Louis was far superior. Kimberely's showdance was awful and I didn't think much of Denise's either. The best dancer won in my opinion.
In my opinion definitely! So so happy for Louis and Flavia, very well deserved.
Any of them deserved to win tonight to be honest but as they were my favourites I'm over the moon that it was Louis and Flavia

On the showdance alone...Kimberly v wobbly/close to out of control disco dancing at times and if I wanted to watch someone bench pressing for 2 minutes I'd go down the gym...James should be GB weightlifting/juggling team in Rio.
Flavia & Louis produced a fantastic modern interpretative dance with many dance elements.

Personally I don't judge it purely on the showdance, that wasn't enough for me to want Louis to win (I didn't think it was even the best showdance). Over the course of the series, Denise and Kimberley have both been far superior in my mind.

The same goes for me, i look at the series as a whole instead of just 2-3 dances they perform in the final, kim is the most improved and denise gave her heart in the final. Louis just carried on doing what he always did throughout the series, nothing different or exciting there.
Don't feel bad for Denise and Kimberley. After all, the exposure they have gained on this show will surely mean that they will be offered major roles in West End shows that require dancing skills.
