Louis did not try half as hard as the other finalists, but it was in the stars i'm afraid, dont get me wrong he was good but should not have won and woudn't have, if he had not been an Olympian 'God'.......

An Olympian could only win if they were good enough to do so.
Vicky P was never going to win dancing the way she did

Victoria went further than she would have if she had entered the show last year...

She deserved to go much sooner than she did. The public could only carry her so far...

What if he had been on par with Victoria, hmm?

Methinks you haven't thought your argument out

That is silly IMO.

I'm so glad Louis won, especially for the lovely Flavia. For us, Louis had the very best SCD, he couldn't dance to start with but improved beyond belief. We thought their showdance was unbelievable. Well done to him and Flavia.

Bet you didn't think that before the result - it's easy to type it once it's happened and I don't agree with you. He deserved it.

Rubbish. He did try as hard he just wasn't so good at the performance side but that changed in the last few weeks. He and Flavia were well out in front on tonight's performance. I preferred their showdance to any of the others and though Denise was technically very good she lacks soul when dancing.

I don't think any Olympian would have neccessarily won. But Louis had the double whammy of being an Olympian and being eye-candy.

Frankly, it would have been a challenge for him NOT to win!

I thought Louis was far in front of Denise's showdance. The other two were dreadful.

Absolute rubbish OP. However, seeing as it's you I am not surprised.

Didn't Louis dance whereas Denise got flung about by James?

Yes. At The Olympics, anyway. It's kind of inevitable really.

On Strictly Come Dancing whomever combined good dance ability with strong public support was always going to win. That was Louis

If you are referring to the showdance, Louis didn't do a lot of dancing. He did quite a lot of gymnastics though.

I would have voted for KW but I believe the result was pre-ordained.

Happy for Flavia though.

Whereas James did most, if not all, of the dancing and Denise just clung on for dear life.

Not that I know much about ballet but I started to think that Louis' showdance was more akin to some kind of ballet.
