Not at all. Just because James was doing the lifting doesn't mean that what Denise was doing was easy. She has to maintain the correct poise and position while being lifted which is actually a lot more difficult than is often given credit for.

Not that I know much about ballet but I started to think that Louis' showdance was more akin to some kind of ballet.”

Yes, it would be interesting to see how much time she actually spent on the ground.

I got to the stage that I would have voted for Louis if he turned up and boiled an egg as his show dance.

... but in different trousers.

I don't understand that - there were plenty of dance moves his strength and hold complemented the dancing.

Absolute rubbish.
What evidence have you that he didn't try as hard as the others?

That's why they had 2 in the show, and boy did they blatantly try to push her too!

If Louis had been as bad a dancer as Victoria he wouldn't have won so I don't agree it was a foregone conclusion that an Olympian would win.

You have no idea how hard Louis worked.
No, don't bother telling me you're a pro dancer.
It doesn’t make you right.

Exactly! He was streets ahead and easily the best dancer. Being an Olympian had nothing to do with it.

Victoria was proof of that, bless her two left feet and her endless sobbing!

Silly me, I thought the rumba & AT steps were dancing. Guess I need to start paying more attention.

So you thought that four weeks' ago - ok but how did you know that? So you're assumption is that people voted for him because he was an olympian - the Victoria factor has already been mentioned. Four weeks' ago as well was before his charleston wasn't it? He said himself tonight or somebody did that it was that dance that was the turning point.

I know quite a bit about ballet and you are right, it was very balletic. It took great poise, strength and control - which is what we train for. You're very observant

No, he wasn't but if you wish to continue to be delusional then you are perfectly entitled.

Yep, as soon as someone's favourite doesn't win. Suddenly their opinion is the only thing that matters, especially if they have 'dance experience'

And stamina. Perhaps he should have trained as a ballet dancer and not a gymnast
