I've downloaded and installed iPlayer yet..

I've downloaded and installed iPlayer yet..
... when I try to download shows it sends me straight back to the installation page to install it again
I can't download any shows lol.

Are you using Google Chrome to try to download content? If so, see here -

Which platform? (i.e. Windows, OSX, Linux, SmartTV, BluRay, XBox...)
Are you using the browser in a platform or a dedicated app?

And since you are in Iceland, are you using some sort of unblocking service to access the iPlayer?

I'm using Windows 7 and I use Google Chrome, and yes I'm using an unblocking service <.<

Thanks for the link I'll check it out
It doesn't currently work on Google Chrome. You need to use an alternative browser.
