well the whole point of the showdance is to do whatever you want, may that be dancing or a whole load of weight lifting, which is what louis did.

It was a lovely gymnastics display. Brought back nice memories of the Olympics. Louis is a superb gymnast so no harm done. At least he wasn't some drippy boy band bloke.

Plus, there was plenty of good dancing to see even if most of it wasn't done by Louis.

Well if there was a glitterball for cheesy hammy smiling, Yes- Denise should have won hands down.

While playing to his gymnastic strengths, they did incorporate some Rhumba arms and some AT (without shoes which struck me as unusual) and it had musicality.

We have seem professional show dances in previous years that incorporated far less dance - just gymnastic lifts And far less entertaining.

hey i didn't mean it as in i think flavia is heavy or something, she must be light as a feather. There was so much more dancing content in the other showdances, louis's i felt was just a bunch of posing and lifting flavia, in my mind not really a showDANCE.

Didn't there used to be a bloke decades ago who used to twitch his muscles to music ? That might be a good idea for the next series.

Denise hardly had her feet on the floor in her show dance. Yes the lifts were good, but I wanted to see her dance.

The music played. Louis moved in time to the music. He was dancing.

Perhaps James and Denise could have danced to "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)"

Yeah. Louis wasn't my choice to win, but he did well and deserved to win. Good for him. Bashing him just seems in bad taste.

It's a popularity contest not a dance competition - Louis could have wiggled his ass at the camera: he would still have won!

He did'nt only do gymnastics, he danced as well and done it brilliantly. You could say the say about Denise and Jame's second dance which was just about lifts. The best man won.

I think Louis really learned how to dance over the weeks, his improvement was amazing. In his showdance, at times he looked like a real ballet dancer. I just thought, "Wow".
