Have to say Bacofoil does come to mind ”

This was definitely the routine that inspired Bacofoil! Louis has loads more dance in his show dance than this one did.

+1

It was also helped by Denise doing that Charleston to the weirdest music ever. It could have been technically perfect - but it had the wrong music so didn't seem right, and her showdance was also in the professional league, but far too 'lifty' .

The music played. Louis moved in time to the music. He was dancing.

Perhaps James and Denise could have danced to "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" ”

I'd agree. I was gunning for Kimberly most of the way through the series but changed my mind tonight. Louis' dances were the only ones which I connected with and moved me. I liked the fact that his show dance proved that "less is more". Denise was brilliant but it was all tricks and flips and lifts - as someone commented, her feet barely touched the floor. It was like watching a circus act. Kimberly suddenly reverted to Girls Aloud choreography tonight which I think lost her a few votes.. They were great - but it was Louis who moved me and who I connected with - and no, not because he's a guy. If I wanted to vote for a guy, I'd have voted for Pasha...

Agree...or maybe "She Ain't Heavy She's D.V.O"

Rather than just scoffing ...

I guess I ought to say that I would have preferred Denise to spend a bit more time dancing with her feet on the ground.

It was James that appeared to do most of the work, for which he should be applauded.

... at least it wasn't a repeat of the dancing dummies.
