Charleston May Not Be My Favourite Dance...
SCD-Observer

... but this series we have four amazing charlestons, all from the finalists!

Okay, Dani didn't do a 'pure' charleston in that she had hers fused with the QS, but it was 1 minute out of 90 seconds of charleston and it was really fun, flapper sort of way.

Louis's charleston was quite good too, and it was his breakthrough dance, performance wise. Glad he did it again in the final (and he definitely improved his performance in it as well).

Kimberly's charleston was SO cute, and I think it was down to Pasha's choreography and her performance (they turned out to be a really good and watchable pair in the end).

Even Denise's charleston was very good. James spoilt it a little for not being able to to the egyptian head bobbing thingie, but Denise was fantastic!

They all deserved their tens, and they were WAY, WAY, WAY better that abomination that was Chris Hollin's charleston, what a horrid thing when they replayed it on ITT the other day.

I agree with everything you said, apart from 'even Denise'. 'Especially Denise' I say. Her Charleston was one of the top two or three standout dances this series for me and the best Charleston ever on SCD.

I would have agreed with you if James danced as well as Denise in it.

Let's get rid of I say...unless ALL competitors do ALL the basic ballroom/latin by the time they get to the final.

It's a sop to the masses start to  and turn over to the Z Factor if it's a ballroom dance.

Hmm, I thought James was the professional not Denise - at least that's what they kept telling us.

I've never been more over a dance by the end of this series than I am over the Charleston now. Since Wembley we've had at least one rammed down our face-holes every week as the best thing since St Jill Of Halfpenny, and it's been so boring.

I loved Denise's. I liked Louis'. Everyone else's can bog off.

Let those bogof come to me! Yeah, Kim's and Dani's are Monkseal's rejects! They are mine!

I loved Kimberley's, Denise's, Nicky's (who'd have thought it would be that good!?) and Dani's Fusion. Louis' was over-hyped and over-marked, I'm glad Craig didn't rate it on par with Kim's and Denise's..
