I can't stand Anton but 'd rather see him get a decent dance partner next series than see him become a presenter. Also I think the previous controversy with Laila Rouass might work against him. And no to Vernon Kay as well.
Either Paul O'Grady (or his alter ego) or Graham Norton would be really good.

knowing the show and dancing ballroom are not remotely qualifications for presenting a flagship entertainment show. He would be dreadful - and we have seen him tried out on quite a few shows already. He is a nice guy and long may he prosper, but he is not remotely 'big' enough for this gig.

I didn't say it was. I'd prefer it if the person did with this show, is all.
As for the last bit, we'll have to agree to disagree! The OP was asking us which one we preferred between Vernon Kay and Anton, and he was my choice between them.

I'm with you on that. The thought of the totally ghastly Vernon Kay is just unbearable.

Please don't compare Bruce Forsyth to Anton as a dancer, Anton is far superior, Bruce knows nothing about Ballroom, you may be forgiven for thinking that,however, since he tries at every conceivable opportunity to convince us that he does! The man is an embarrassment, especially when he has 'treated' us to one of those specacularly cringeworthy dances with the Pro- girls, when he looks like Fagin (at best)!
