Louis and Flavia won! I still can’t believe they did it! I’ve been convinced for weeks TPTB have been conspiring against them.

Us Louis and Flavia fans been through such an ordeal this series #firstworldproblems. Seeing our Louis slated by the judges constantly when we knew he was a bloody good dancer!

I honestly don’t care about some people on here saying he didn’t deserve to win because he wasn’t as good as the stage school ones (people always whine when their faves lose.) Only 2 non white men before Louis have ever won a British tv talent show/reality show so I actually think even if the wonderful Louis won for reasons other than his dancing (Olympics, looks, Flavia etc, ) I think it’s fantastic!

The cherry on the cake is the Kimberley fans not knowing who came 2nd and 3rd. Karma baby Karma!

I'm glad Louis won because he deserved to in my eyes, not because he is either male or black. He provided me with the most entertainment and didn't fail to live up to that.

Sorry for the pun but Flavia and Louis worked their butts off

I thought Denise was the best dancer overall - but the bad publicity lost it for her. I am ok with him winning seeing as how he had not danced prior and made the most progress.

I keep replaying their final dance (Brucie "Take to the floor") it makes me well up every time.

they did indeed. Flavia was so gracious as well knowing she'd really done a good job with Louis but not hyping that up. Glad other people commented on that though

1st BiB, good to admit you were wrong
2nd BiB, diddums
3rd BiB, what has race got to do with it?
4th BiB, I doubt many LS fans would appreciate that comment. It is a dance show.
5th BiB, sweetie

Well, it has to do with everything
But specifically, here, it's kind of hard to guess

Congratulations to the OP - really glad her man won tonight .

Why then, does she feel it necessary to have yet another pop at Kimberley and her fans?

The said woman has probably posted more comments about Kimba than Louis - that, I find very odd .

I was actually happier for Flavia than Louis, it seemed like winning meant a lot more to her than to him.

sorry is he mixed race? Whatever his ethnicity, it's clear he's not white isn't it? Not that ethnicity should matter of course which is the point I was making.

Agree. I was really glad for Flavia, she's always been one of my favourite professional dancers.

Louis and Flavia did great.

Out of all the performers that weren't semi-professional dancers before the show started Louis was the best and deserved to win.

Louis definitely won the popularity contest, possibly by a mile.

I don't think he's black - mixed race, maybe, but in multicultural Britain does anybody give a damn?

That old chestnut

Louis's gymnastic background was an advantage tonight though, yeah?

Possibly.... But he always had to blend the gymnastics stuff with dancing. The gymnasitcs on their own wouldn't have been enough to win him and Flavia the title.

I quite agree, particularly glad Flavia made it, having been runner up with a better dancer before.

Not sure he was the best, but he may have travelled the longest journey.

Whatever, this is the first Strictly where I did not have a personal choice of one dancer as overall winner. The two girls nailed it technically, and were better, but Louis's show dance was something special, and I think that's what got him the popular vote and the glitterball, and nobody should take away from this.

In Louis's Olympics, the Team GB gymnasts should have got a Silver but were knocked back to Bronze because the disqualified team complained.

Don't let anybody knock back Louis's win - that would be mean-spirited.

Gawd ! Who cares if he is purple with green stripes. ....apart from the colours clashing.
The boy did good. I was rooting for him all the way because no matter how good his performance he seemed to draw sniping comments ,particularly from Len. Only in the past couple of weeks has Len backed off a bit. But to mark him the same as Lisa on the night she played up-turned turtle was utterly ridiculous after praising his routine.
Well done Louis & Flavia......whatever your races are.
