I loved the showdance, as the judges said it was so very different, wish they had done a ballroom dance as their own choice (with Louis in white tie & tails) but I can see exactly why they chose the Charleston.
The only thing that is irking me is the reports of him doing a double-somersault. He didn't - he did a side somersult early on, and two separate single somersaults. He might be a top-class gymnast but I don't think he would attempt a double with a human lying in the landing area, especially since all the training is to land with the feet togeather...
Will watch that show dance again (and Denise's) on iPlayer.
Felt sorry for Dani as she has done some great dancing, felt that Vincent didn't get the showdance right and it didn't flow.”
Agree, as much as I love Vincent, the show dance and music was not good, it was lumpy. Denise was same as usual, excellent, the same as usual and there is the problem. Kimberley was great Pasha's show dance was exactly like last year's, chaotic. All of Louis and Flavia's dances were great: Dirty Dancing = crowd-pleaser. Showdance = strong man ballet. Charleston = wit, bendy, dangerous, great.

Also noticed that both were bare-foot hence Darcy knows what shape his instep is!”
If a top ballerina can give such high praise to Louis then the dance has to be good. She knows her stuff, insteps and all.
I am thrilled that he won.
