series 4: Mark
series 5: Alesha
series 6: in terms of technical ability, then Rachel without a doubt, but I didn't have a huge favourite that year, and on the basis of such a perfect showdance, Tom wasn't an unworthy winner.
series 7: in terms of technical ability, Ricky, but I much preferred Chris & Ola's partnership and am not ashamed to admit I voted for them to win
series 8: Kara, though I liked all 3 finalists
series 9: Harry
series 10: Kimberley

Series 10 - Kimberley Walsh , just, on what we saw and without evening thngs up a bit for Dani.

I can see a pattern and I can't criticise it in the slightest.

If that had been the pattern of results in the earlier series I doubt we would have made it to series 10

Series 1 - Natasha
Series 2 - Jill (liked Denise as well)
Series 3 - Darren (wasn't the best but i thought it was good for the series)
Series 4 - Mark (Louisa should have been in the final with him. Matt wasn't good in latin and Emma was overated)
Series 5 - Gethin (I was also supporting Alesha but this is the only year in which I felt the public did not pick the winner)
Series 6 - Tom (Showdance made the difference over Rachel for me)
Series 7 - Chris (not the best dancer but the partnership was great and the better dancers did nothing for me that year)
Series 8 - Kara
Series 9 - Harry
Series 10 - Kimberely although it was very close and I was happy with a Louis win.

The only winner I have any issue at all with is Alesha because I feel the public choice should always win and that's the only year I'm not sure it was. Otherwise I think the winner in each series is really the right winner.

What sore losers! The bland stage school, dance trained girl from Girls Aloud didn't deserve to win!

6. So close between Austin and Tom for me, with Rachel not far behind either.

10. Close again, but for different reasons; I didn't think this was a particularly strong year, as much as Len is trying to convince us otherwise! Louis a deserved winner.

Well i've only watched 2, and both times the wrong winner.

6 - Rachel Stevens
10 - Kimberley Walsh

Louis just did his gymnastic stuff and did some basic dancing. I mean when was doing those show off moves qualify as dancing....and Tom just proved the voting public would undermine a perfectly good female winner with an average male winner at any cost. Denise would have made a good winner also. The advantage Louis had was better songs to dance to i mean Time Of Your Life (i mean come on can you get any more retrospective than that) and Rule the World couldn't be more biased and perfect...

BIB - Kimberley just did her Girls Aloud stuff and rightfully lost.

Well you have been unlucky and missed all the series where the best female dancer won.
Natasha, Jill, Alesha and Kara. There have been a few.

Tom was better than average and although he wasn't as consistent his best was better than Rachel. (Showdance)
In my opinion of course.

I was an Alesha fan so happy that she won, but I do think Gethin was unfortunate with the dances he had left for the semi-final - Paso was never going to be impressive compared to Quickstep and a decent (albeit overmarked) Waltz. It would have been very interesting to have a 3-way final that year, though i still believe Alesha would have won it.


You do know that people are allowed to have different opinions to yours, right? No need to be so rude!
