Best 14 couples ever!! This can be including winners although some weren't the best.

Alesha (that would never happen), Kara, Denise, Kimba, Ali, Rachel, Lisa, Chelsee

Scott, Harry, Ricky, Louis etc.

All the above, apart from Lisa (sorry). But including Gethin, Ramps and Jill

I meant Lisa Snowdon.

Not this year's Lisa.

They just did an all-stars season in the US and it was an all female final.

That would never happen over here.

I loved the DWTS All Star season, it was the best ever. Even when they did trot out some not so good dancers and that dreadful Bristol Palin. But the ratings were considerably down from last seasons. Most likely due to lack of the almighty "journey". After all the public knew already what they were going to get. The best of the best and some fillers.
Personally I don't care much for the cliched journey, a word that is overused on reality TV shows and should be reserved for The Amazing Race were contestants are really on a J.

Would love to see an all star season, but only if they bring back Alesha, which as OP said is unlikely, and they ask the judges to tone it down and strictly judge on performance and technique. Which is also unlikely.

Harry Judd would easily win. King of dancing.

If it was actually the best 14 celebrities - best 7 male, best 7 female, the cast would look like this:

Alesha Dixon
Rachel Stevens
Kara Tointon
Chelsee Healey
Pamela Stephenson
Zoe Ball
Lisa Snowdon

Ricky Whittle
Harry Judd
Jason Donovan
Tom Chambers
Austin Healey
Matt Baker
Colin Jackson

I'd love if they could get all the best back with their original partners

Jill and Darren
Zoe and Ian
Denise and Anton ( Ian is going with Zoe)
Colin and Erin
Matt Di Angelo and Lilia (Flav is going with Louis)
Alesha and Matt
Mark and Karen
Gethin and Katya (Camilla with Tom)
Austin and Karen H (Erin with Colin)
Tom and Camilla
Rachel and Vincent
Kelly and Brendan
Ali and Brian
Ricky and Natalie
Kara and Artem
Matt and Ola (none of Ola's partners have been good enough! And Aliona is going with Harry)
Chelsee and Robin (Pasha with Kim)
Harry and Aliona
Jason and Kristina
Denise and James
Pasha and Kim
Louis and Flavia

Now that would be a competition.

If I e missed any notable celebs or pros let me know! X

I would have:

Jill and Darren
Rachel and Vincent
Kara and Artem
Chelsee and Robin
Kelly and Brendan
Kimberley and Pasha
Denise and James

Colin and Erin
Mark and Flavia
Gethin and Kristina
Austin and Ola
Ricky and Natalie
Harry and Aliona
Matt and Karen (Hauer)

My choices would be:

Alesha Dixon
Kara Tointon
Jill Halfpenny
Pamela Stephenson
Rachel Stevens
Zoe Ball
Kelly Brook

Mark Ramprakash
Harry Judd
Matt Baker
Gethin Jones
Ricky Whittle
Colin Jackson
Tom Chambers

And I think the final out of those would be Kara, Mark and Harry or Jill.
