Yes, definitely keep Darcey - not fussed about any of the others though. I used to like Craig, but he lost all credibility this year.

As for Bruno, the human whirligig, what is the point of him, other than as a comic turn? The nearest you ever get to dance critique from him is 'you went wrong a bit in the middle there'

2013 judging panel: Darcey, Karen, Ian, oh, and Len (I guess)

100% yes. She knows what she is talking about, looks good, speaks well and is kind but constructive. I read an interview in which she expressed mortification for all the 'yahs' in her early appearance. She said it was a nervous response from her to fill in silence because normally when she gives advice in a teaching situation there is a conversation but here the competitor could not respond to her comments directly and she felt awkward just 'lecturing'.

Definitely keep Darcey. Both Craig and Bruno personify what Strictly is all about (Saturday night light entertainment). Moody, waspish, gurning Len is increasingly out of step with the direction in which the show is going. Maybe he could front up a more ballroom focussed show on BBC 3 or 4?

Oh yaa please. Love her. She also gives good constructive criticism.

Yes, she gives good notes.

Her marks often don't match the comments but the actual performance notes are excellent.

Yes, definitely. I wasn't keen and first, especially with all the Ya's, but I have really got to like her and think that she is a real asset to the show.

She'll be back or they'll replace again her with another token woman, it really doesn't matter to me who they have.
But a change might stop the show over-running, for someone with the least knowledge of ballroom, she seems to have the most to say. She reminds me of Esther Rancid, the way she often drags out her time in front of the camera.

The other three are as they are supposed to be, mostly a bit of a comedy act, I'm sure they are encouraged to be that way.

Definitely yes, wouldn't have said that a few weeks ago but have really grown to like her

Definately. She is so experienced and knowledgable about dancing and the way the human body works. Her comments are always kind and constructive. She was the perfect judge.

I wasn't sure about her at the start, but she really improve once she relaxed a bit and her personality started coming out.

Still think they should have another judge with some ballroom experience though, of the 6 judges they have used only one was vaguely qualified to judge ballroom dancing, seems a bit odd for a ballroom dancing competition.

She's awesome.

I liked Darcey up until the middle of the series. Then it seemed all she had to say was "That was amaaaaaazing....I looooooved it!". A definite improvement on Alesha, but that's about it.

Me too

Len's beginning to irritate me and Bruno amuses but now OTT - time for other changes, maybe ?

She's far and away better than any of her predecessors so I'd love her to be back. I couldn't really watch the show when either Arlene or Alisha were on it. Arlene's voice grated and I just didn't find Alisha credible critiquing ballroom and latin.

Yes, Darcy is the best female judge they've had by far. The panel's pretty good at the moment. If they could just get rid of the lame presenting duo (not Claudia), the show would be even stronger.

Most definitely.
Apart from being the most qualified, her comments are always informative and constructive.

I am afraid the other three have become caricatures of themselves and are hardly worth listening to.

Yes, Darcey was brilliant, always kind and constructive, knows what she is talking about, can't fault her. I think they got the judges completely right this year.

I like her, good comments and good sense of humour. She just tweeted that she will be back next year.

Good news but I am amazed that decision has been made so quickly.
