Yes! I don't think people on this thread understand the impact of this could hold to Cheryl cole or kimberely. The social media is very dangerous if things are not 'nipped in the bud'.

It comes done to social physcology.....

Her best friend lost to the worst dancer, even if it was a dig - are you surprised?!

Cheryl coel has a fan base of 3.2 million people. She uses this as a marketing tool. Messages on these social networks is a business. Who you like, who you don't...it's a lot deeper and far more is read into everything....welcome to the new age of technology and propaganda.

Were in the 21st century. Gone are those days of personal thanks...

So the " ... " at the end made the congratulatory greeting seem disingenuous? I get it now.

Louis should just have replied "thank you ... "

Then those people are exactly what I'm talking about. Fans are too obsessed with their idols and sometimes those stars need to think carefully with what they say or do, because it can fuel things out of control.

You should never hold humans as gods. These fans especially Cheryl's are too obsessive and it's not healthy.

I am admire of Angelina Jolie, but I would never agree with everything she says like a nodding dog even if it's against my own morals.

Wow, I can't believe this thread was even made, Cheryl is now being insulted for congratulating Louis and flavia? And Kim did congratulate them live on the show. Every celeb has crazy fans who are going to say the wrong things, especially when Cheryl has about 3 million twitter followers.

I think the reaction to Cheryl's tweet by both her followers AND the OP is totally over the top tbh

FYI. I am writing on my iPad and it autocorrects (sometimes incorrectly) my words.

Maybe this is an example of how easily things can be construded. Maybe I should have not commented on your thread and given you the impression that I am an embarressed idiot who can't spell.

Cheap tricks to embarrass me or to undermine my opinions.

It's like this thread was made to make another reason to slate Cheryl, even when she's done something good, she didn't have to congratulate them but she did.

she's probably feeling a bit bitter that Kimberley didn't win

What a sad perspective, I certainly don't think the days of personal thanks are gone, and clearly Kimberley congratulated Louis last night.

The only thing gone as far as i'm concerned are the days before cynicism. Now everyone likes to read something that isn't there into everyone's words. Celebrities are entitled to say or not say what they like, just like the rest of us.

I think the word "reaching" best describes how I feel about this thread.

Sad as it may be. But trust me, the new dawn is technology.

Personally I am a pen and paper kinda gal and im only 26. But ask your average teenager or youngster and their dairies are twitter and Facebook.

A lot of youngster dont even text one another (that was so yesterday) they tweet/facebook it so everyone knows their conversation. It's all thanks to smartphones and 3G.

Celebrities have just jumped on the bandwagon. They too do the same, twitting pic of their personal lives and instead of texting one another to meet for cofffee they tweet it so the whole world knows what there up to.

I find it all very sad....

Have you tweeted your congratulations to her for making the final?

"construded"? what does your ipad think that means?

"embarressed" on one line
"embarrass" on another line; can your ipad not make up it's mind?

Might be best to check your own spelling and grammar before commenting on other poster's spelling..

What does this even have to do with Cheryl Cole and her tweeting?

I don't think Cheryl thinks too deeply. I believe she congratulated him because he had won. No hidden agenda IMO.

It very ironic that you explicit such a high and almighty image defending those 'poor contestants', where as you yourself are so rude to others and their opinions.

The most intellectual conversation you probably have had is based around the 'daily star'- that is if you actually read newspapers. This thread was meant to be based on people's perceptions on celebrities image and how their fans can CONSTRUED 'innocent' messages and maybe those stars should know better, since the celebrity environment has changed with likes of twitter/Facebook.

If you think is so ridiculous to discuss please comment on why Cheryl cole was not in the audience and whether it was her fault or not that Kim did not win- very deep.

You shouldn't be so rude and use cheep tricks to give an image of intelligence. Why? Because if you play with fire, you will burn.

Unfortunately the damage had already been done Julie, the lingering memory of Cheryl in the camera last time was enough to make the difference.
