Does anybody know if there is a maximum size to an external hard drive that can be attached to the receiver? I'm thinking of getting a large hard disk.

The box works with a 2TB drive internally provided the partitioning and formatting is done manually. Can't see why a 2TB formatted EXT3 wouldn't work. Why not get a cradle and use more than one HDD drive ?. 2 x 1TB will last you a long time and avoid long load times of the media list of a larger disk.
