Top3 Finalists of the X Factor Austrlia 2012- boyband The Collective - have just premiered their debut video to single Surrender. They lost to Samantha Jade.
Clearly they are stylized as next One Direction.
THoughts?

It's not very good but it could be catchy. I think they're more Big Time Rush than One Direction.

I think the only direction they're headed in is out the door once they fail to live up to hype.

I think it's a good, catchy tune and they could probably get a decent hit from this. I actually think it's quite smart that they've released it so soon because teenage girls will still have them fresh in their minds.

It's like Rebecca Black without the iconic persona and powerhouse vocals.

Bow @ the feministic overtones of these twonks surrendering to powerful matriarchs. Yes, yes, yes. Grovel. Are they submitting to Queen Samantha Jade or...? Yes, yes, yes. Maybe she has some space for them in her royal court. Let's see... as court jesters, perhaps?

Some of them are v. ugly.
