Just looking for some inspiration really on how you folk cook the old bird

Mines ready and roaring to go but thinking about venturing down the overnight method but skeptical on the idea. Some say it's the best and really juicy, others says it's unsafe.

How do you cook yours and any tips to share?

Think I'll just get up around 8 and stick it in rather than risk killing everyone

I stuff the neck (just paxo) and put a couple of halved lemons and a halved onion in the body, put butter with the zest of one of the lemons between the skin and the breast, lots more butter smeared over the bird, bacon over the breast and wrap in foil making sure the foil is quite loose to create steam. It always turns out lovely and moist.

Forgot to say I never cook the turkey overnight, but mine is fairly small so should only take around 3 hours.

Have a look at this. Apparently it's foolproof. http://www.itv.com/thismorning/food/...istmas-turkey/

Make sure that's Celsius, not Farenheit! Sorry smudges dad, not being pedantic but you don't want anyone poisoning everyone!
