Does anyone know of any good tarriffs and phones available on them coz quite rankly, I am fed up of endless searching . I am currently on Vodafone with a T610 (done through Singlepoint, something I am desperately trying to get rid of) I am looking for a phone that must have bluetooth, a decent quality camera and preferably infra-red and a flash function for the camera and on a tariff that isn't more than £20 a month. I don't use it for calls much so a tariff with inclusive texts is better and I NEED ( ) to keep my original number. Any ideas?

O2 Online PAYG tarrif gives you 300 free texts a month for £10. Call rates are quite good but the phone selection is poor.

Details: http://shop.o2.co.uk/shop/choosetariffs (at the bottom).

Thanks but am really looking for pay monthly phones as i am a poor student and it makes it easier if i can pay a set amount every month rather than £300 in one go for a phone, but thanks anyway.

Hello,

You might want to try the Orange "website" offers tarriffs, obviously 3 are supposed to be quite good price wise, but it seems to be a lottery on how good service is.

I can have a word with a old colleague from a mobile network I used to work for and see if I could get you a decent offer.

What's your budget (per month)???

on a tariff that isn't more than £20 a month.
There are some very good deals here (albeit it 18month contract, but well worth it if you're strapped for cash every month)

I particularly like the Nokia 6230 - 250free texts, 600free night/weekend mins, free handset - £15.99 p/month

Hope this helps

Just an update, I have now emailed Singlepoint 5 times over the past month (yes 5 ) about leaving the service and have not received any kind of response so rang them today only to be put on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up on. So i've just about had it with them now.

If thats the case stop direct debits/standing orders to them and send a cheque for any remaining charges you owe. I think you can guarantee that once payment is stopped they will be phoning you and you'll be at the top of the list for disconnection. Its not the nice way to do it but I have a hunch it may work.

try http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/deal.php?D=half
There are free line rentals. I emailed them and they said you pay for the line rental(min 12months), then every 4 months for a year they send you a cheque.
Also, you can get the phones (SE K500i/Siemens cx65/SE t630/nokia 6610i).

Stop all payments and at the same time, send a registered letter to Singlepoint detailing your attempts to contact them and your request for them to cease your contract and your reasons. Do not pay a disconnection fee.

If they fail to contact you regarding your letter, contact ofcom on 020 7981 3040. Explain your situation and obviously its important you keep a copy of your correspondance to Singlepoint and your recorded delivery slip.

Singlepoint are shite! I've been telling people this for years, yet you can almost guarantee some clever person will come along and tell us all how cheap they are and then people read it and think they are ok. Yeah great, you get a free phone and then the rest of the time they rip you off either taking more money than they should from your bank or putting a bar on your line even when the bill has been paid amongst other problems caused by their incompetance. Unfortunately the company is run by John Caudwell. I've met him several times and with John its a simple case of: volume, sign em up, earn revenue, clear the clawback period, what happens after that isnt important. And if you wanna leave - it will seriously cost you!
