More Crap On Emmerdale.....
this is getting beyond a joke, and after 30 years of unbroken viewing im now begining to consider switching off....
![]() how tf did cameron manage to pass alex ? he was running like flip through woodland. ok he stopped to get his breath, but its WOODLAND and anyone moving in close proximity would have made a noise... then cameron gets the better of big strong alex.... yeah like f...... this follows rapidly on the heels of the crappiest ever courtroom trial, and the nonsensicle mineshaft farce. im sick of this amateurish nonsense, the ideas are ok, but the script and production are utter crap. im not into conspiracy theories, but as blackburn is moving to rival soap corrie, is he trying to destroy emmerdale before he leaves? taking out the opposition? get back some realism in these storylines or lose more viewers. |

If they wanted to lend any reality to that farce with Alex and Cameron then Alex would have just decked the weasel faced snotgobbler and drove him in the wagon to the police station.
Emmerdale has got to the point where I have it on as background noise. In fact it was so bad Corrie seemed so wonderful last night with the sneaky Tyrone Fizz Kirsty thingy and Leanne getting ratted mouthing off. Come on Emmerdale, bring back Matt and Dolly. |

The trial scenes were, indeed, farcical. A murder trial done and dusted in about two or three days? What the f##k?

Also would Chas only be in jail for at least 2 months before the trial took place, I always thought they would take months before it would go to court.

I understand for TV things need to be paced up but that was on par with a parking violation speed. Also, why did the CPS go for Murder? made the case more complex as the options were Life or walk away. Most likely they would have dropped it to manslaughter in order to secure a conviction. |

Cameron becoming a serial killer is pathetic emmerdale at the moment is so un realistic. It's funny how things change though a few month ago Corrie was the worst and now it is best.

Cameron killing Alex -what ,has he suddenly turned psycho ?? The plotlines for a tiny village are ridiculous with all these murders and deaths. Are they trying to make the viewing figures so low it will be axed ??????? |

The bigger, stronger, younger and fitter farm-hand was no match for Dances with Leaves. Camo hit Carl from behind with a brick. Fair enough. |

you do realize Alex turned around to see where he was so he didn't have to pass Alex as he just had to move off of his line of sight to sneak up on him

I just want Cameron to get caught now. He didn't need to murder Alex, he's obviously a very stupid character. If Alex had of gone to the police it would have been his word against his. And that van left in the woods with a rough estate nearby, nah. Even if it didn't get broken into a dog walker would have found it. Its big and white in a wood with leafless trees

all very valid points and add to that we now have to stomach Laurel and marlon being the new comic link people of the show, those two make my blood boil. Shame Cam cant do for them as well

And why has the cretin ruined Edna's christmas too, aswell as ruining Alex's character by making out he likes wrecking old ladies houses and robbing them. Debbie also needs to get a grip, I hope after he came round and threatened her last night that she realizes the man is a twonk and gets over it, who cares if he's with someone else, he's unhinged now, past the point of no return oh and he can only get the better of someone in a fight if they turn their back on him. |

I strongly agree with you OP 100%. Me being an Emmerdale viewer for more than 10 years and my mum and nan for 40 years, we find the show is at its lowest its ever been in its history.
Terrible scripts, actors, story's... its not fair on the audience who have followed the rural soap for god knows how long. People watch Emmerdale to escape the viewing of Corrie and EastEnders(even though i love both). Its a total sham the lot of it, and somethings needs to be done ASAP. Kate Oates I have so much faith in as she was producer of the Archers so she knows how to make the show into a modern day rural program like it was from 1972-2009. 2009 onwards I think has been rubbish especially 2011-present. Emmerdale really needs to be sorted out by Kate and ITV to take it back to its former glory otherwise, it'll just end up in the bin. Oh and another thing before i go(sorry if i'm boring you) Does ITV even care about Emmerdale in the slightest? Corrie get the best of everything; producers, loads of promotion etc. This is terrible, i'm really worried for my favourite soap |

It's a load of old crap, we aren't supposed to think too hard about it, strangely enough it reminded me of some horror film, don't know which one but there's always that part where the fleeing victim will stop and look around and then the nutball is behind them with an axe or something, of course this only happens in films where the assailant is supernatural in some way, but hey. Must be easy to write for soaps these days, wonder how I could get in that gig. Because let's face it, most of the soaps are very unrealistic, you could write what you bloody well liked, maybe Cameron has secret wings on his back or can run as fast as a tiger
