I purchased a LG model mentioned above about a year ago , I also bought the magic motion remote ( old syle ) with the blue ok button

I came to use it today,after we have not used it for about 3 months,it would not work at all

I powered off the TV,removed the receiver that fits in a USB slot in the TV,and followed the instructions to register it with the TV but it goes through the motions and states registration fails,this magic motion will do some functions,such as volume up and down,change channels and power off the TV but not control the smart things on the TV such as BBC Iplayer etc

I have also put new batteries in,when I press the blue ok button it attempts to register but always fails

Anyone any ideas how to get it to register ?

Works fine with my Iphone app LG remote but not the magic motion
