I believe that he regards women as inferior to men which is why he finds the idea of dressing as a woman so abhorrent.

Tim and Spencer aren't complaining. He knew it was a pantomime. If he can't take the heat he should get out of the kitchen. But then, he's desperate to be on TV isn't he?

Interesting observation. A school of thought believes, in very much the same way as you do, that he and Ahmed are homophobic. I fail to see enough object evidence to make these assumptions plausible.

Another school of thought might take his refusal to partake in these Dame lessons as his stubborn and arrogant ploy to control his image as he saw fit and that he his setting his stall by the refusal.
