What happened to LMA Manager?
I used to be a huge fan of the series and remember the first one on the Playstation 1. It would work well on the Kinect/X-Box as you could shout tactics at the players who are managing.

Codemasters stopped making it after 2007, not sure the reasons behind the decision though

Still play LMA 2007 and Football Manager 08 on 360 still great games. Surely someone has to release a new console managment game in the future.

There is a really gap in the console market for a good management game, I just wonder if the cost of licences etc have put paid to it.
I'd personally love to see the return of LMA, but can't see it happening now. |

Console sales were poor compared to development costs, in both the cases of LMA and Football Manager.
In FM's case, they decided to put the console dev budget into the handheld version and that's doing alright. |

bit late for a 2012 edition!!
I very much miss LMA since I have gone to PS3, I played on 2005 and 2007 nearly all the time I was on PS2! I've got them both now for PC but its just not the same however since they stopped making them I have gone onto Football Manager and think I would find LMA too basic if they were to bring another one out... |

I can see Fifa Manager moving to console when home PC sales drop below a certain point.

Codemasters only make racing games now. They are now known as Codemasters Racing.

To be honest I would accept any sort of managing sim on console, as I'm not much of a PC gamer. Fifa manager would be nice.

Pm 2012 on PSN
Like most people here i love football management. So disappointed that they dont have any for ps3. but found PM2012 on PSN. Its not very good at all ! but i decided to buy it for a wee look see, its only a tenner. And yes its crap and not very good but i found myself playing it over and over think i am into my 5th season so far. I have other half and a kid now so time is limited. But for a tenner ? i think its worth it as long as you dont set your sights to high. Besides its a tenner ! whats that ? 3-4 pints ? PS there is a glitch in they game, i had a player i bought as cover and ended up selling him after season orr two and other club agreed to buy him for couple of million. they ended up paying my 500 million ! Problem is the top class players don want to leave their clubs ! Boooo |
