[MP3_4_Life]

Just watched this film for the 1st time in a lot of years, not only is it the 1st film thats made me laugh out loud for a long time it also amazes me how Un-PC it is. Could it get re-made with anywhere near the same level of comedy or are we now too PC to even manage anywhere near the funny levels this film hit?

Simple gags like that made it such a great film but some of it is so un pc its unreal, we have jokes regarding Pedophiles, Gays, Blacks, The middle classes, it makes it so funny as there is no malice whatsoever involved, a product of its time..and what a product lol

It must have more laughs per minute than any other movie I can think of - it's one of those movies you can watch over and over and keep finding new stuff you missed because you were laughing the previous times.

Now i'm older (not wiser) I get the jokes when I 1st saw it as a kid when it 1st came out I didn't have a clue and I think the chances of this being shown on TV is rather slim, its like the scene with the panicking passenger all getting ready to give her a slap to calm her down. so un-pc lol

I always get the giggles when I'm on a plane and they ask us to read up on the brace position - I just think of the crash positions! Also if we're landing in fog I start thinking "they're on instruments!" and get the giggles again.

The sequel is not given enough credit either....that has the greatest sight gag with Shatner (the mirror sight gag in the first film gets missed by many)

If you're on a certain flight and can understand sign language then you can get an extra giggle
