Question Regarding HDTV settings
I've just got a new tv, it is capable of 1080p.
When I select optimal resolution is sets to 1080i. Is the xbox right or should I manually set it to 1080p? |

Try setting it to 1080p manually if it doesn't work it will just revert back to 1080i, Which TV is it?

1080i is a rather strange optimal resolution for a new TV. What is it? Do you know the native resolution?

Nope, the 360 has supported 1080p for years. There may not be many (or any) actual 1080p games, but the 360 will happily output at 1080p using HDMI, VGA, or Component.
