Good UK online comic retailers
I'm rekindling my interest in comics, and am wondering who are considered the best retailers apart from major payers like Forbidden Planet. Google brings up quite a few but I don't know who are the relaible ones. I'm more interested in the less well known titles.
I've been trying to find Transfusion #1 published by IDW but they want at least $40 to sent it from the US

http://www.disposableheroes.co.uk/ are pretty good. There are a few others posted about regularly in this section.
Also, just checked and 2 issues of Transfusion are available on Comixology at 1.49 and 2.49. |

I've been doing disposableheroescomics for maybe 2 yrs now and can't see me going anywhere else - at the start of each month I put in my advanced order for 3 months hence, pay by paypal and just sit back and watch my weekly dose come thru the letterbox each Friday/Saturday in hardback A4 envelope. My month lot is ~10, though with the Death of the Family Batman event happening at the mo it has increased to take in all the parts. Each comic coming encased in that plastic envelope thing people use to protect their collection, along with the cardboard insert thingie.
One thing though - if you know you won't be in when Postman comes, make sure your letter box is wide enough to take an A4 hardback envelope - otherwise you'll have a weekly trek to the postoffice delivery office. |

What kinda packaging do they use - is it a4 cardboard backed envelopes for 4 or less and the clunky foldable cardboard thing (anyone who has bought comics online knows what I'm referring to) for 5 and above - or something else.
