Over the Xmas period I've set the soaps to record using Series Link. There's been no problem with BBC1HD 'Eastenders', but ITV1HD 'Emmerdale' & 'Coronation Street' have been missing episodes.

I've deleted the schedules and programmed it again, still it happens.

Anyone any ideas?

Just noticed that last nights Corrie failed on my Foxsat (Emmerdale recorded OK). In the past ITV failed recordings were down to ITV changing the Event ID's , could be the same problem again.

Complain to ITV?

Sorry, didn't explain myself properly - if it's ITV at fault that's ok(ish), I was wondering if it was something to do with my unit?

That it works on BBC but not on ITV is evidence enough of where to point the finger.

Corrie failed on 9200T too so I'd say most likely an ITV issue.

I agree last nights worked on the HDR-1000s but that had auto padding enabled.

It's been happening to me too. I noticed that Dancing on Ice, Lewis and now Corrie have not linked up to the next episodes. All ITV programmes of course so that is obviously where the problem lies. It's quite frustrating but at least I know now that there isn't a problem with my recorder.

(I wish I knew what auto padding enabled meant!)

Which box HDR-1000s or Foxsat-hdr ?

It's a Humax Foxsat-HDR. I bought it I think about 5 years ago now. It works brilliantly except for this ITV series link problem which has recently developed.

All those are now recording fine on my Foxsat-hdr (ITV1-HD London), one issue with Corrie over xmas posted in this thread.

Try a factory reset (make a note of your recording schedule first, you will need to re-enter it).

I decided to wait before I did a factory re-set. I just did all the failed series links again and the problem has gone. Obviously, ITV have sorted it out.
