Probably not the best thread to be starting as we approach January but I'm quite excited about these new Kit Kat Chunky flavours.
Once again the public will be asked to "Choose a Chunky Champion". The four new flavours are: - Coconut - Mint - Choc Fudge - Hazelnut Kit Kat Chunky Coconut reviewed here: http://grocerygems.blogspot.co.uk/20...ut-review.html Which flavour do you think will be most popular? I'm hoping the Coconut wins ![]() |

Out of those, Chocolate fudge may well win, but I'd prefer the mint

Do you live in Royston Vasey or something? It's available in literally every shop that sells chocolates!

Has anyone had any luck finding these yet?
I've got a review of the new Hazelnut Kit Kat Chunky and also a Roundup Review of all the flavours. http://grocerygems.blogspot.co.uk/20...3-reviews.html |

Hazelnut sounds the best if the praline filling was hazelnut.
We couldnt find the last ones anywhere but now a shop near us sells the peanut butter ones (the ones i hate!) i think i only ever managed to find one white one. My favourite kit kats were the ones i only ever saw at school in the vending machines which were four fingered ones that were white chocolate. One was white chocolate and lemon, one was white chocolate and lime. They were the nicest chocolate ever! |

We've managed to find them all today (for anyone who can get into Solihull, that offy/newsagent by the 37 bus stop across from Touchwood has them all in stock)
We shared a mint one - lovely but nothing unusual - and a coconut one which was pretty blah. I love coconut so maybe I was expecting too much of it but I won't get another. Mr C has also tried his half of the fudge and declared it far too sweet. |

There are actually 5 new ones as I've just bought them all from the corner shop. 69p each.
The other one is Hazlenut Cream - although looking at it, that doesn't say Choose a Chunky Champion on it like the other 4, so maybe these have been out for ages and I just haven't noticed. Bang goes the diet then!! ![]() although in my defence I got the mint one for my son....

I bought the Hazelnut and Choc Fudge ones from my local corner shop, very nice
![]() There was also a "Hazelnut Cream" one, maybe thats European (?) That tasted similar to the Hazelnut one TBH. |

Feeling a bit left out here as I still cannot find the things anywhere, maybe they are not available 'up north' yet?

Not sure I am brave enough for that one!
Congrats on finding them all! ![]() The Hazelnut Cream (green wrapper) has been around for awhile, it's actually made in Bulgaria so it's nothing to do with the current UK releases. It's weird because it means there are two Hazelnut Kit Kats around at the same time, although the green ones can be hard to find. There is also a Caramel Kit Kat Chunky (yellow wrapper) from the same Bulgarian range which is still around. ![]() I wish they did a 4 finger Kit Kat Chunky, or a proper Orange one (not only with orange chocolate but orange cream in the middle too

Interesting! I made a book up on this (just for fun) and if you fancy a free fun only bet on this, then click on the link below (if I am allowed to post it!)
Current betting odds. Choc. Fudge - 1/1 Mint - 5/2 Coconut - 7/2 Hazelnut - 6/1 Good luck! http://www.gambling.co.uk/forums/vbo...at-winner.html |

Had the coconut, taste sensation.
I think it could win, coconut yoghurts seem very popular, when Muller Light had them as limited edition, I couldn't get one anywhere, always tons of empty boxes in Asda/Morrisons, even now they aren't special edition, I rarely manage to find any left in Asda. Coconut M&Ms are always popular with people i know who have travelled to America or from the American sweet shops, I reckon it can pinch it! |

I tried the coconut one and didn't find it 'coconutty' enough. It could do with a layer of coconut cream in the middle. The coconut flavour only comes from the outer chocolate.
I've tried the choc fudge one and preferred it - that one had a layer of choc fudge in the middle. Very nice. I'd have one again. |
