Most Anticipated Music of 2013....music YOU cannot wait for!
So guys....we are a couple days from the new year and just wanted to see, know, discuss what new music, returning artists everyone is looking forward to or intrigued by in the new year
 For me it goes a little something like this... The Other Tribe - A band from Bristol that are set to bring new stuff out next year...their songs Skirts is circulating and it is mightly impressive and euphoric...check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COqltYFleuQ an their FB https://www.facebook.com/theothertribe and twitter https://twitter.com/theothertribe Foals - I own their debut and beautiful follow up album, they are set to make impact next year and their new single Inhaler is out now...and its a corker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJ_PMvjmC6M Haim - An alternative sister orientated band from the States....old skool rhythms and styles abound...they have covered Fleetwood Mac and have various influences between them...the result...some soothing breezy melodies that echo back to the 80s  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgbEfvcuG3Q Alunegeorge - Aluna Francis and producer george Reid teamed up to make a really Trippy/Alternative Disco feel....i look forward to what they deliver in 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmXZuv5BaHg https://www.facebook.com/alunageorge?fref=ts ^^^ those are my newbies of 2013 i am most anticipated for...now for the "Pop world" we have a mix of two returning Princesses....in Pop we have Britney for definite with her 8th album and Kylie rumoured with a 12th album, we have current hot property starlets Katy Perry in her maker or breaker third album (set to be "darker"...you know, that old chestnut...but we will see) and we have the other hot property of current Pop...Lady gaga and her whole ARTPOP fiasco....will it win fans back from The Fame era? will it continue with the new fans gained from the Born This Way era? Will it sell as well? will it translate to the masses? what on earth sound will it be? a lot is resting on it that i am actually very intrigued by it. So yeah...thats me in a nutshell thus far...what about you all?

Hollywood Undead - Notes from the Underground Biffy Clyro - Opposites Bullet for my Valentine - Temper Temper These are all albums I'm looking forward to next year. Also looking forward to hear what James Arthur, Eminem and Avril Lavigne bring to the table. Blink 182 too have said they'll be writing for the new album in February, though I'd have to be extremely optimistic for a 2013 release given they currently have no label.

Hopefully album #7 from Will Young, going away for a year to do Cabaret and other different things is great, but foremost I'm a fan of his singing voice and I can take or leave the other stuff.

I am extremely excited about Charli XCX's debut album in February. Everything she has put out, from standalone singles to mix-tapes have been nothing short of brilliant. I have no doubts she wont disappoint.

And hopefully new albums from Sky Ferreira, Diana Vickers, Little Boots, Cassie and Girls Aloud (or at least a Cheryl, Nicola or Nadine solo album). Plus the inevitable Q4 releases from Rihanna, One Direction, Little Mix, Olly Murs and James Arthur. |

I'm excited about Foals new album also, Inhaler is amazing- really surprised by how much I love it as found all the older stuff I've heard by them a bit.. meh really.
Most looking forward to The Knife's new album in April (I think?!) though, can't wait to find out what kind of direction they're going in. Wooo! |
