Girls Aloud- The Loving Kind
How underrated is this amazing song?? Apparently it was produced by the Pet Shop Boys and you can definitely tell. It's one of my all-time favourites, so euphoric but melancholy at the same time. And Nicolas part/vocals are amaze.
I can't believe it only scraped the top 10 and wasn't a bigger hit! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFY4DxiHzTI And the instrumental (from the album version) on its own is gorgeous. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_YJSQtgrY0 |

I can't stand it.. Maybe you have to be a fan to like it.
It's no TP, LM, SOTUG.. |

Absolutely agree... G.A had a pretty unique sound with this song. I wish they released more tracks with this feel.
I think other tracks from the girls that had this vibe were- Untouchable & Call The Shots I wish we had more like ^the above. |

It's one of those songs that no other girl group could pull off, a brilliant song and a brilliant video.
and their 20th consecutive top 10. |

I'm not a big Girls Aloud fan but I discovered this song on youtube and loved it. It has a 90s feel to it that I really like.

Brilliant song, although I prefer the single version to the album. I'm a massive Pet Shop Boys fan too which makes it all the better

I think it's their best song but seemed to be ignored when it came out!

HATE this song! Worst track from GA for me. I think they have had some terrible songs though but the ones I hate are ones people seem to adore eg wake me up, loving kind, whole lotta history, love machine, the show wheras I really rate see the day that most people can't stand. Differing tastes eh

I like the intro and verses, but it has a weak and almost non-existent chorus that makes it one of their weakest songs

![]() I thought they were both the same. There are two different versions of Untouchable though and I prefer the album version of that song.

I love it. I've never really been a Girls Aloud fan, never owned any albums but I recently downloaded Ten and this song really stood out to me along with Girl Overboard.

Is the single version of The Loving Kind different to the album one?

I like the video to this song a lot.
I don't love the song though - there are parts which are really good (particularly Sarah and Nicola's lines) but the chorus just kinda plods along and seems clumsy imo. |

I do love this song but I can't listen to it anymore without thinking of the bum note lol. Sarah knew she was onto a duff one when she was singing it, these things happen live though aha. |
