So it would seem that HO are really trying to show that Brendan isn't happy/comfortable with having Seamus be killed witch I'm happy about

I really didn't want Brendan to do it for revenge, and I'm pleased that it doesn't seem to be the case. I really want to see Brendan struggling with his dad staying, and to see what it does to him when Seamus is calling him names, and have it be a build up of things from childhood to whats happening now, that makes him so desperate to have his dad go away that he sees death as the only option and the only way out of this mess for himself

at first I though great, another reason for the haters to say that Brendan hasn't changed etc

but if it is done well and you really see the distress and deteriation in Brendan, then I think in away people will be more understanding as to why Brendan sees this as the only option and depending on how evil Seamus is to Brendan in these coming episodes, root for him aswell?
