Morning all! It's another good day of ratings for the show
![]() The One Show: 5.54m (24.1%). That's a fabulous percentage share. I'll be interested to see if they can manage a 20% share tonight as that'll be good ) |

Morning, back on here at long last
![]() These are brilliant KK, I remember this OS particularly (don't we all) as one minute Matt was all buttoned up and the next, all was revealed (well, sort of! ) I am afraid there was only one man on that set who set the pulses aflame, and it wasn't Mr C! I have to say he's a very charming and good-looking man and he entered into the randomness of the OS, but couldn't really compete with El Presidente.......The last KK picspam is fabulous.... http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...22at212137.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...22at213942.png but I love them all ![]() Hope to be appearing on here a little more regularly now, it's good to be back. I've missed you all and I've missed being able to share in the Mattlove ![]() Off to see my mum shortly so will say ta-ra. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday, snowy or otherwise ![]() |

It's The One Show on the 18th of December featuring the sexiest man alive - and his guest Bradley Cooper
Matt managed to undo a button on his shirt during the show, if it had carried on for about a year he could even have ended up shirtless ![]() A couple of favourites if I had to choose: http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at172914.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at173343.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at173744.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174114.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174127.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174538.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174657.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174814.png With this being my absolute favourite ![]() http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...20at174556.png Thanks kk. |

I missed a waistcoat last night
![]() Nice to see you back SG and hope mum is showing signs of improvement. Am really beginning to enjoy the 1 hr T1S - JBJ was a good guest - much better than expected as am not overly fond of guests from across the pond, Well will miss again tomorror due to funeral of very dear friend so will need some cheering up tomorrow night - a westkit or two might help! Great percentages for T1S now - really holding its own |

Evening all
Snow nearly all melted now, in time for the rain. A good tos tonight, jon bj was a good guest, happily chatting with matt and alex, but seemed alittle bemused by tos and the radomness of it all. Matt looked great, good unbuttonage and very good stubbleage some super close up with added bonus standing up. a happy bouncy mattHi SG good to hear things are settling back down at the star house, hope your mum is better. Lotus hope the funeral goes well tomorrow Hugs to everyone that needs one |

Just had a look at the ratings for last night and sadly The One Show couldn't sustain it's stunning current form 19:00 - The One Show: 4.33m (18.8%).
And that's another illustration of a big name guest not actually helping the ratings. I think John Bon Jovi was probably a bit boring / bored and so maybe more people switched over to ITV at 7:30... I do prefer it when a guest is more engaged with the show |

That's a shame. Remains good for the hour show though. Jon Bon Jovi was very polite, very nice. I do think he tried to engage with the show but it just wasn't his thing. He looked as though culturally he was on another planet. At least he wasn't all about himself. What could have had a big influence was that Corrie started half an hour earlier last night - so at the same time as The One Show. And they do have a big storyline going at the moment. Add to that the party political broadcast lead-in and probably lots didn't even stick around to see who the guest was! All in all, makes it quite a good rating I think.

Alan Davies on The One Show tonight. Wonder what he'll be like. I've only seen him on one of the outside broadcasts and can't honestly remember how it went.

![]() Mr JBJ didn't look totally at ease yesterday I felt...... as someone said the OS is not exactly rock-n-roll and it was a bit carpet slippers and pipe last night Not exactly the right programme for the heavy rock genre JBJ must have wondered what he had wandered into!Matt was looking extremely delectable in his navy shirt and jeans - and his hair is looking fabulous nowadays See that Alan Davies is the guest tonight, he was on Graham Norton the other week, I'm sure he'll be reminded to rein in his language for the OS ![]() Thank you for all your concerns, Rita and SkyBlue, re my Mum......she is back in the Home but very weak. The infection has knocked the stuffing out of her - she is well looked after, and warm and comfortable, and that's the main thing. POCs to Lotus, at least the weather kept dry for the funeral (I think) and to the other posters who are going through difficult times. January is usually a bad month (unless of course you have a birthday!) and it's living up to its reputation. Think we all need lots of light relief (and yes Lotus, you definitely will need a bit of Mattage, these sort of days are very exhausting) and I hope to manage most of the prog before I'm out for the evening. Btw, this is an amazing pic.... http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...23at214102.png Lots of lovely phawtaws in the latest picspam, Matt always delivers! |

Also some more old Blue Peter stuff was found on YouTube today - if you search for "Christmas at Club Blue Peter" you'll find the 60 minute special in 6 chunks. As with the Quest it features content I'm not sure was aimed at kids (topless male dancers and women in Moulin Rouge-esque outfits in the first minute
) and Matt gets to show off his acting skills in 2 very distinct roles (and gets to sing and dance too). He's a talented boy

Very, very quiet today. Has the Blue Peter Christmas Special rendered people speechless?
Admittedly the "My Generation" bit at the beginning of part 2 could have that effect ![]() Rating for last night's show was back above 5m - it was 5.25m. No percentage share yet but that's going to be well above 20% I'd have thought... |

Hellaw just managed to catch T1S from last night - loved the show and AD was a very "interesting" guest. Poor Iwan getting the short straw
and diving into the icy pool - must admit am not a fan of large tatoos and know someone else who has endured icy waters![]() KK am miles behind on picspams are am doing my best to catch up - honest. Havent yet had the pleasure of BP either. Will watch CE tonight as Brian Cox is the guest and am a fan |

Cold weather is easing off, isn't it?

Great rating for tos getting over 5mill last night. Haven't had chance to look at to bp clips hope to do so during the weekend, sounds like they are very good ![]() ![]() Yes SkyBlue the Club BP Clips are absolutely fantastic, you would never guess the man in the fatsuit is Matt He is a brilliant actor and he must yearn to do something like a musical but his life, at the moment, is mapped out for him what with the OS and CF and the other programmes he is involved in from time to time. You have a treat ahead of you once you realise what it's all about ![]() Thank goodness the snow is about to leave us (well in the SE anyway) It has completely mucked up everything especially for my hospital visits Don't like the high winds and rain coming our way but beggars can't be choosers, it'll be better than the fear of slipping and breaking bones......Sorry you were sad Rita over Fed losing. He is a beautiful player and a fine specimen but Murray's star is in the ascendency at the moment and we Brits need a winner again (the Olympics were soooooo last year!!!!) Seriously it would be very good for British tennis for Murray to win in Oz......I won't say any more because if I do, the opposite will happen ![]() Great ratings for the Thursday OS, that dip on Wednesday doesn't count!! Thoughts are with bakerettes having difficult times, POCs. xx Bit early to say night night but have to catch up with OH, him having just returned from London with our grandson, want to hear all about it! So CCM, sweet dreams and refreshing sleeps to all  xx |

). The guests were Mary Berry and Jenny Agutter and Matt got to show off a cake he and Molly had prepared earlier

or otherwise
JBJ must have wondered what he had wandered into!
