Matt's been doing something... But I've no idea what. That was actually the University of Westminster affiliated hospital if I remember correctly from when it was posted. (I remember worrying about why Matt was at a hospital.)

So that's a couple of hospitals he's been doing something at. Maybe TV, maybe just some charity he's working with

Andy was an interesting guest. When he was on the show for the first time they showed him a VT in which the behaviours of gorillas were observed. They left the life-sized cut-outs of Matt, Alex and Andy with the gorilla and it took that of Matt away. I still remember. I enjoyed the cast of West Side Story performing opening number ‘America’.

Haven’t watched last night CF in Gower. I was out the whole day with family barbecue and came back last so missed it. But it’s already been downloaded automatically on my iplayer desktop cos I selected CF and OMAHD as favourites long, long ago. Looks like one of the great episodes I have been longing for. Going to watch it tonight.

Pictures from tonight the OS…just specially captured Matt and Nicola’s 10th Wedding Anniversary moments that we all were watching surprisingly on live! Matt said Nicola was over there because that was the only way she gets to see him because he’s working. Alex did a good job pushing him to tell Billy Ocean how he met Nicola 17 years ago and his song ‘Love Really Hurt Without You’ was their song. Lovely, lovely couple, very sweet of Matt ran to Nicola, gave her a kiss and a hug and then blew a kiss to her. Don’t you just love them?

Billy was great serenading the chorus for them.

Evening all

On a scale of 1-10 of matt being adorable, sweet and lovely he was off the scale tonight, it was so sweet that he asked billy to
sing his and nicola song for nicola as it was their 10th anniversary today, she got a lovely cuddle and kiss from matt during the song, lucky lucky mrs b

Matt looked good tonight, nice black jeans and good unbuttonage.

A great tos with billy and lee, fab guests who had a good laugh together, both lovely and chatty, billy little story about the baby chick

I forgot mention last night that it was not just Matt and Nicola’s 10th Wedding Anniversary; it was also their black lab Annie’s birthday as well. I remember Matt saying she’s called Annie because she was born on their wedding anniversary. She might get Master B’s gentle strokes and cuddles too.”

As an aside - I know there were comments about this episode (and I think the next one too) regarding Matt’s time on show as Ellie did the introductory voiceover, there was a brief intro from Matt for his piece and then he didn’t appear again until after Tom’s first section. I’ve just been doing videos of some shows from last year - and one of the shows I’ve just done he didn’t appear until more than 17 minutes in (and looking through my list - one show from Somerset he wasn’t on properly until 20 minutes in)! By comparison this was less than 14 minutes in.

And this episode he clocked up approx. 15 minutes of airtime which is about his maximum (that surprised me too as it did feel shorter when airing ). I’ve got episodes from 2012 and 2013 where he only managed 10 minutes on air (some good ones there though - Brecon canal included )

I still prefer episodes where he’s more engagingly used - but this did illustrate the value in giving Matt one location to film in as he gets a lot more time. The alternative - which are often my favourite episodes - are where his journey is the story (trains, boats, etc.)”

Evening all

Thud, we may have waited to nearly half through cf for matt first bit but it was well worth the wait, he was at home sitting in one of his apple trees, cuddling a chicken and giving bob a nice cuddling.
Looking fab in his shirt and jeans.

Then we had matt visiting aston martin and driving a couple of cars, matt had a fabulous time driving them, a big kid grinning from ear to ear

A good cf for john's 25 years of being on the programme.

If he has had a hair cut it's probably because he's being a grown up presenter for the Commonwealth Games

(and that's also probably why he's wearing grown up shirts - though he did travel in his nice green t-shirt!)
