The 9th of January on The One Show and Alex was back (and I was glad to see her as whilst Sarah was OK, I wasn't a fan of Gabby). The guest was Frank Skinner on to talk about Room 101 - and he suggested that he'd like to put the One Show theme tune in to Room 101
![]() Matt was wearing a dark denim shirt and tan chinos http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172133.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172231.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172455.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172608.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172656.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...02at172831.png Thanks kk. |

Afternoon all Puts down wallpaper and pastoing brush - phew. Me old bones dont like standing on a stepladder. I know Rita. Sunday is as good as Saturday is c**p! Given up trying to watch DOI - not enought minutes in the day to see them all. Tonights area in CF is one of my faves and Jervaux Abbey is beautiful. At least now on 2 days a week I can catch T1S on t'other channel ![]() :

(And weirdly Julia is presenting a report from East Sussex - that's strangely the wrong way round compared to normal, but I guess Julia can't try out Cornish Wrestling )

I know there was no Matt last night but I still have to smile at this: Countryfile 6.90m; Dancing on Ice 6.73m/5.39m;
It finally happened - Countryfile beat Dancing on Ice in the ratings

![]() A good tos tonight, interesting start to the show with matt and alex sitting on a bed Antony was a good guest , but didn't seem to chat to him much or maybe i was distracted by someone else sitting on the green sofa ![]() Lovely shirt matt was wearing with nice unbuttonage and wow's, stubble still there. Great going cf beating DOI. Used to enjoy DOI as well, but got really fed up with one of the judges being so rude to the constants that i stopped watching. |

Trouble is that DOI now has to contend with a really good Sunday night viewing on the Beeb right through from the afternoon. Quite diffficult to fit in the evening repast
I have tried to catch it on I player but the time seems to elude me somehow, For some reason it just doesnt seem to enthrall the publice to the same extent as SCD I have to make choices and so ther is only one choice for me (followed by Midwife and Ripper St of course),Enjoyed tonights little offering (guest was rather nice as well). |

Afternoon all
. The Ratings Thread are still not getting in ratings very well but I've seen on Attentional that last night's One Show got 4.58m. Looking at the numbers from last week it was mostly averaging a 22% audience share for around those viewing figures (it seemed to vary between 4.57m - 4.62m so really stable!). Obviously Wednesday is always lower but it's doing OK...Don't know who the guest is for today yet but from what Matt said yesterday they have Bruce Willis on tomorrow (he'll be promoting the latest Die Hard movie). I think he should be a pretty good guest. And I'm hoping to get back to doing a picspam today

The sky is darkening so no walkies for me today besides the fact that I've run of steam and am full of fishcakes, chips and meringue

![]() Good tos tonight with richard, very funny when the older lady said she fell asleep watching Notting hill, alex fell about laughing, he took it very well that she didn't find the film interesting. Great red furry look for the sofa's. Wonder how they are going to do the CR challenge, space hopping to work. Matt looked great in his t-shirt, would liked to have seen it minus the jacket, great stubble and a happy bouncy matt. star, your lunch sounds nice, especially the lemon meringue sundae |

![]() Do we think that's actually going to happen? Just been given a spacehopper for my grandchildren, I could accompany Matt and Alex on their journey Probably not...Fantastic and funny OS tonight. I knew that Richard C had thought up the whole idea for CR and it's wonderful that he's had such input throughout the years. He's so well known in the entertainment business that he only has to ask......and the stars come flocking! Matt looked marvellous in the jacket/tshirt/jeans combo....he's a lovely man! |

![]() I am really looking forward to see Matt comes to work on a spacehopper on 15 Feb. Last year I saw a glimpse of Matt and Alex on the spacehoppers on the main show and I was a bit disappointed that I missed out to record it. Now I got a good chance. Alex just said it is an hour and half away for Matt to come to work. I don't know how he would manage to do it but if he does well he could collect some donation money on his way. I think people would love to donate. And he seemed to be ready for his challenge. ![]() I'd love to see Only Fools on Horses as a repeat if the BBC look back 25 years of its Comic Relief fundrasing. If Matt genuinely commuted to work by space hopper it would be a major charity event so I'm not sure that's what will be happening... |
