Mattfree days are nearly over and I am so delighted today as I heard Matt’s voice twice!

First on BBC Two after Swimming World Championship

Bonus old clips of Matt on Countryfile tonight, happy memories of the Great Dorset Steam Engines fare (there was not enough time to repeat the big boy playing with his big toys) and the County Durham trike tour (I remember he got drunk a bit at the end cos’ he couldn’t resist beetroot wine!

Finally into July on The One Show - it was the 1st with guests Chris Addison and Emily Blunt. Chris was on to promote the new series of VEEP (hard work finding a clip you can air before the watershed!

It has been a long 3 weeks without tos of a evening so it was a nice unexpected bonus of hearing matt after the swimming

Seen the BBL trailer a few times now. some good mattage on the way

The three week tos break is over and I'm going to miss the return of the matt, I'm away for the week, hopefully I can get a glimspe in the evening of tos.

Matt on tonight’s the One Show…it’s lovely to have him back

…I see he’s been a bit busy – chicks arrives and hedges looking lovely and he got cuts on his right fingers…seemed he did some DIY as well…I’d pay more for British milk…don’t want to see British dairy farmers quit the industry…I like Maranda’s VT…can’t believe it’s about time to reveal strictly contestants…time flies!

It’s the 2nd of July on The One Show and the guests were Chris Eubank, his wife, and his son (also called Chris, also a boxer). Chris (Sr) was as eccentric as ever

. His son seemed a lot more level headed and told a funny story about accidentally ending up on a nudist beach whilst out running because he had headphones on and wasn’t paying attention

It seemed Matt rushed off at the end of Thursday’s the One Show and filmed Countryfile on last Friday and then headed to US for Big Blue Live. Perfect timing on next Sunday is Countryfile at Wales' largest county, Powys – a harvest special at 6-7pm and then Big Blue Live Episode 1 at 7-8pm. 2 great programs to look forward to. We are going to see Matt in a white bee protection suit on CF and then hopefully at least in a wet suit or even t-shit, flip-flop and shorts on BBL.
