He was very layered up to start with, but it was just hiding some very nice jeans with some very good views later on.
![]() Lucky spanniel getting picked up and getting lots of cuddles. Lovely pics kk ![]() http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at213357.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at214059.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at214635.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at214732.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at214845.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at215412.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at215625.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at215640.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...05at215651.png Honestly these fortunate ladies....do Julia and Alex realise what feelings of envy they evoke in the bakerette community Still they are both lovely young women who are 'spoken-for' and just treat him like a brother so we'll let them have their moment!!Lovely OS tonight, a comfortable vibe with Ms Lipman, some serious talking about the state of the NHS of course with all the recent bad publicity, but then onto some interesting chat with Maureen. I noticed at the end of the prog, Alex said CE's name with a bit of a laugh. She was probably thinking: I hope it's not going to be another awkward OS with CE being rude to me as he was last week (I watched it - it was embarrassing ) Think it's time for Mr Evans to retire from the OS - I quite like him on the radio - I will say no more ![]() Have had a really nice day today, first time in several weeks I will sleep soundly and dream of white vests and biceps.....and I hope you do as well! CCM  xx

Morning all.
![]() Rating for last night's show 4.93m - so up on the usual 4.6m(ish) - I suspect the Bruce Willis interview got them some publicity. And other than a couple of people with issues on the main DS board the blame for that interview seems to be definitely skewing towards Bruce being the problem... |

I wouldn't put the blame for the Bruce interview on anyone myself. Just an unfortunate mismatch. In the UK at least though, it hasn't done Bruce's reputation any good, whereas Matt and Alex, or the show in general, haven't been harmed. Quite the contrary I'd say

Hello - just a very quick post. I am very disappointed that the Countryfile website is updated for upcoming CF on Sunday and still did not update the credit list. I saw the credit since last week before it was updated. Matt is one the presenters we are going to see on that night. His name should have been in the list when more information was added together with pictures. It's such an act of negligence! ![]() This is what we are going to see Matt on Sunday night. http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/512xn/p014vdlp.jpg Quote:
Matt’s mystical tour http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qsl55
Matt Baker takes a journey down the coast, taking in two of the most magical and mythical sites in North Cornwall - St Nectan’s Glen and Tintagel Castle. At the glen, he meets a man who swims with his dog in January under a sacred waterfall and an artist who finds quiet inspiration for famous rock album covers! Then Matt heads to the ruined fortress of Tintagel. Here he delves into its rich history and discovers how a fire helped rewrite the castle’s history books. Finally Matt rounds off his trip by having a go at Cornwall’s national sport - Cornish wrestling. |

Well it's not too long to wait for the Cornish Wrestling on Sunday but we're not holding our breath that it'll be anything like the Mongolian version as El Presidente will be togged up in many layers. I wonder who will come off worse, Mr Baker or Mr Wong? Answers on a postcard please.....Just finishing viewing When Albums Ruled The World, what a trip down memory lane - marvellous stuff (well most of it!) So it's CCM from me.....sleep tight everyone  xx |

And Matt and Julia aren't presenting together tomorrow, it's Matt and James Wong (they're doing the wrestling - at least according to James on twitter - he read the script and figured he was going to lose badly )

Hello
If anyone interested; just a few pictures from a clip of Strictly It Takes Two – Katya and Aliona Bootcamp. Matt was in his white vast giggling embarrassingly while Aliona teaching him hip action for their Cha Cha. He didn’t show off his guns on strictly but he certainly has a pairs of gorgeous dancer arms. ![]() http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0001.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0002.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0003.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0004.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0005.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0007.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0008.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0009.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0010.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0011.jpg Who could blame Aliona for smacking him? http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0012.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0014.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...71010-0015.jpg I don’t mind Bruce Willis appearance as a guest on the OS. I can ignore his laidback character. If he was not on the show Mr B’s guns would not have been revealed in ‘Try Hard’ wallposter so I appreciated his appearance, (Action) Matt seemed a bit of fan boy. I hope Cornish wrestling isn’t as bad as Mongolian wrestling he had ever experienced on Around the World in 80 Days. He won a Mongolian hat for BBC CiN auction but the price he had paid was a broken nose for this! ![]() Next week CF is a clip show presented by Adam. We will have a clip of Matt and Ellie making Yorkshire pudding and we may also have bonus of Matt (with Julia’s little son Zephyr and her dad) in Julia clip. Looking good!

Moving on to the 16th of January on The One Show with guests Julian Fellowes (creator of Downton Abbey) and Nina Wadia (Eastenders actress). The show featured discussions about horse meat being found in burgers, cabbies having a better memory than ordinary people, inventions (an excuse for Matt to get on his bike), a link to the Winterwatch team, and they had a "name that stately home" quiz where Matt helped Nina with the answers via the power of mime (the prize was some scones with cream and he was probably hungry
)Matt was wearing his grey shirt with the strange blue elbow patches and tight jeans ![]() This one is nice - and you can't see the patches ![]() http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at155249.png I like his expression here, so never mind the patch http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at155803.png My favourite profile http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at155917.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at155954.png This is a particularly nice shot of his jaw (and mouth) I think http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160104.png And these are just nice for no other reason than that they're nice http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160303.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160333.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160346.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160920.png A good close-up http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160609.png A coy expression (always like those )http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at160946.png My favourite profile again http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at161002.png This is a bit different I think - maybe because of the background http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at161053.png And this is a nice one of the shirt - or rather the fit of the shirt ![]() http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at161116.png Thank you kk. |

Very strange the bit with julia on the farm with the cow dug. Have a good time out of the office kk, hope everything goes well. Think there'll be a thaw later though, here's hoping! After an extremely hectic weekend, I'm quite happy to be snowbound to be quite honest but hope to get to see Mum this afternoon. ![]() Well what a riproaring CF it turned out to be Think everything that needs to be said has been said about the Cornish wrestling complete with bobble-hat, the interesting (!) outfit and the throwing of Mr Wong Can't wait to see it again!! Thanks to Emma for the lovely memories of vesty Matt and to KK for ploughing through so many One Shows to bring us loads and loads of luscious picspams By the way, all the best to you over the next few days KK, you've left us with lots of fabulous piccies to ponder and wonder over ![]() So what to choose, there are so many delightful phawtaws! The lighting is so much more flattering than the usual bluey tinge... http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at163824.png Love the fact that the studio design peeps actually took the trouble to create a snowy scene at the windows!!... http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at163921.png And this is very dreamy... http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...09at164706.png Still got some more picspams to trawl through yet - there'll be some favourites to pick amongst them To be truthful, I love them all!Off to do the chores Hope everyone has a great Monday whatever the weather is doing in your neck of the woods...

Morning all
. Last night's Countryfile was the 2nd most watched programme of the day with 6.93m (26%) viewers. The only programme ahead was "Call the Midwife" as it again beat DOI (by over 0.2m viewers). I'm sure the wrestling was popular . Loved the way Matt managed to get back up off the mat after being flipped by just rolling backwards to his feet without having to use his hands - he's still got that gymnastic ability ![]() I may not be able to post much over the next couple of days - if anyone wants to check the ratings these are good places to look at around 11am or so: http://www.attentional.com/screenwatch/ - will have the rating if The One Show was the most watched "factual entertainment programme of the day http://www.itvmedia.co.uk/highlights/ratings - will have the rating and percentage share if the show is in the top 10 watched for the day |
