A really good tos last night with Tom, Felicity and Ron, Tom really is a chatterbox, I haven't read Inferno, looks like the film might be good. Preferred the book da vinci code to the film. Only seen half of angels and demons.
Matt was looking good, a nice shirt with good wow's.

Alistair trying to do Matt accent again on tues, he really can't do it.

Aww I'm really sad that Will has left Strictly

I didn’t watch live but I found a few improvements in this year – no human props so far. There are around 5 front runners/strong contenders and 2 dark horses but no clear winner predictable yet so more interesting to catch up the dances and fast-forwarding VTs!

I wasn’t surprised cos strictly is not just a dance competition after all. It requires a mixture of dance-ability, popularity, personality, likability, publicity (in papers in favour), etc, etc....

Matt answered in his first strictly interview video clip before series 8 started, he wouldn’t say he’s desperate to win because so many factors that are outside your control with strictly come dancing. Could be any couples out really. Even it is not an early exit, one by one to be eliminated and that’s the rules of the show. The only time I felt shocked was Pixy and Trent’s early exit.

Oddly enough I don’t feel sad

cos Will is a grown-up, matured and professional. He knows exactly what he needs or wants. I respect and admire him for being decisive and moved on and not seeking for a scapegoat for his decision to leave the show. Leaving strictly is not the end of the world in my views cos there are a lot of very important things to do in life. Will can take some time out to relax or continue his career - sings, dances and performs on the stages. Possibilities are endless for a talented guy like him.

It was One Man and His Fog on Countryfile on the 25th of September, coming from Northern Ireland. It was the 40th anniversary of the show.

Not so many pictures this time as Matt didn’t do any bits of the show other than commentary and they didn’t cut to a view of him that often (probably because of the rain…)

From experience of going along some of that route in a car this year both Jedburgh to Newcastle and Hartlepool to Scarborough are going to be tough days. Some steep bits in there...

Onto the week commencing the 26th of September. The guest was Tony Robinson of Blackadder & Time Team fame. Alex was off filming elsewhere so Matt’s co-host was once again Angela Scanlon. And this episode featured waxwork Matt from the Jorvik Centre

The One show 27 October 2016 – Matt, Alex and Strictly contestant Judge Rinder and his pro dance partner Oksana
Rob is a good guest. He is not a technical dancer but has rhythm and can move. Quite surprised to hear he mentioned he has been watching Matt and Al’s strictly video clips. Al’s cheeky response, ‘don’t watch me that would be a mistake’ was a good fun. Matt looks a bit blush when Rob said, ‘Matt, you are amazing’. I agree but we have already seen many amazing things Matt has done.

Oksana reminds me of Ola somehow, maybe the smile on their faces quite similar. Matt and Al agree with Rob's view that it is actually dancing with your teacher.

I didn’t know it was repeated on BBC Two this morning. I have rewatched when it was aired on Yesterday channel. Then I bought this series in DVD when it was released in 2012 but it was SD version. Now watching M & J’s SB 2010 on HD is just absolutely stunning! Thanks to BBC! This is one of the series I always enjoy watching over and over again.

Matt on tomorrow’s Countryfile in Herefordshire, looking at the county’s historic perry-making industry and helping out with the pear harvest, according to CF website. It is on 6.15 pm!

I wasn’t curious about her personal life tho. I was actually looking for Mattiona’s gorgeous American Smooth photos as I got a flashback on their fabulous AS yesterday morning when I heard Emperor State of Mind was playing at the local Wilko branch.
Gosh! They look so young and very cute in those photos!

On other notes - in the last few years, I saw Julia, Ellie and Helen co-presenting Countryfile while they were pregnant. Alex is going to be on her maternal leave soon. We have seen Angelica Bell as mum-to-be on the OS. Now Aliona has shared her baby news. My prediction on those closely work with Matt, Beth could be the next one to start a family if she got married to her faïence next year.
