Can’t believe the OS rickshaw challenge will be set off on next Friday. OS doesn’t release all photoshoots they have done tho. Should be released before early this week.

I wasn’t curious about her personal life tho. I was actually looking for Mattiona’s gorgeous American Smooth photos as I got a flashback on their fabulous AS yesterday morning when I heard Emperor State of Mind was playing at the local Wilko branch.
Gosh! They look so young and very cute in those photos!

On other notes - in the last few years, I saw Julia, Ellie and Helen co-presenting Countryfile while they were pregnant. Alex is going to be on her maternal leave soon. We have seen Angelica Bell as mum-to-be on the OS. Now Aliona has shared her baby news. My prediction on those closely work with Matt, Beth could be the next one to start a family if she got married to her faïence next year.”

A great cf last night, very moving, Levana was incredicle keeping on going. So lovely that Eliie turned up near the end to walk the last bit with her.

Dear me! I had a day off and all I heard the whole day on radio and telly was US Electi0n 2016.

And even the OS to cover it. Went to see GP in the morning and heard the live broadcast on BBC Radio Derby. Got to put up with Mr T’s sort of buttery/sugary/creamy/chocolaty speech. As if I heard from a different person.

But in a minute later they were saying the One Show rickshaw challenge for BBC Children in need is to set off on 11 November and interviewing a member of Team Rickshaw 2016, Andy which was rather nice.

So Matt is off to Scotland tomorrow to join the team. Weather is getting cold but hopefully to stay dry on Friday. I have checked the details routes on PudseyViewranger and noticed that the rickshaw is going to Matt’s home turf Easington.

On the last day they will be cycling around the Buckingham Palace before the finishing line.

Countryfile Ramble for Children in Need was longer than the normal episode. Great to see the inspirational and courageous youngster and the great supporters/fundraisers rambling for great cause in the beautiful landscapes in one episode. Really heart-warming to see and incredible effort from Lavana completing this ramble. It must be very tough for her as a double amputee. She got the support from her sporting hero Eliie.

Matt and Julia’s Secret Britain is repeating on BBC Two on Saturday mornings at 9.45am. I always missed it on telly as is the time I go out for shopping. Now catching up Secret Britain Leg 2 - The Hidden Heart on iplayer. Nice to recap the clip of Matt hanging on the cliffs of South Pembrokeshire. He got some bruises on his forearms clinging on the cliffs and got sunburnt on his face and back of the neck! He climbed back in a secret way of his own cos he couldn’t manage to climb back the way his instructor Libby Peters did.

If I remember correctly in Secret Britain Leg 3, Matt meets the shepherdess Alison who guides him to Howgill Fells. Mr B said, ‘Oh, man I cannot stop smiling!’

By the way, I managed to catch up Friday ITT. They played strictly pointless; the first round question was strictly champions. Zoe revealed later that a pointless answer was series 8 winner Kara and is only a pointless answer. Unbelievable! None of 50 panellists knew her winning!

Yes, always made me smile too. I heard their foxtrot song ‘She Said’, VW song ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ and rumba song ‘Too Lost in You’ quite often. A colleague has their jive song ‘Soul Bossa Nova’ ring tone.

We've had months and months of the us election up to the vote, now we going to get more of it until he takes the presidency then probaby more after.

I've missed both of the repeat showing of secret britain, good job that a have it on DVD

but will be watching on sat for true north, glad I haven't missed I can't stop smiling

It was funny that no one remembered that Kara had won.

The rickshaw is starting tomorrow and a nice bit of Matt and the gang on tos, ready and all set for a early start in the morning, the weather for Saturday doesn't look great for Saturday

6 years ago today, Matt embarked the One Show rickshaw challenge in the aid of BBC Children in Need. At that time no one thought Matt would have passed over the rickshaw challenge to the teams of inspirational youngsters supported by the charities and projects aided by Children in Need Now the One Show rickshaw has become the annual fundraising for CiN.

They cycled 62 miles today and are behind the schedule this evening so couldn’t manage to cross the Day 1 finishing line during the OS on live but hopefully there are supporters out there at the millennium bridge to welcome the team rickshaw and give them much needed support.

Last night on the OS we saw Andy did a great inspirational speech. Looks like Elbony to give the speech strictly CiN special, Len got a hug from Pudsey.

The Best of Strictly Come Dancing: Len’s Grand Finale BBC DVD to be released. His 12 years on strictly and Al said not just one but two of the Baker’s dances there. It was fabulous to see a glimpse of Mattiona’s samba at the Blackpool, the climatic end with the impeccable timing triple backflips and knee-slide, a kiss from Aliona and Matt picked her up. Very sweet!

The thing is Matt didn’t see it as he was peddling with the team rickshaw. Caroline said Matt’s dancing is a new side of him. Al said Matt likes to do backflips.

Nice to recap Al and James’s Tango at the Wembley as well.

I managed to watch Secret Britain Leg 3 – True North on BBC Two this morning cos I stayed in as it was raining. I watched it when it was first aired and at that time I didn’t know Matt can dance fabulously in both ballroom and latin. He wouldn't be called fabulous Baker boy for nothing

Presenter Matt Baker is currently taking part in the One Show Rickshaw Challenge in aid of BBC Children in Need. He shares his Inheritance Tracks. He has chosen Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang by the Sherman brothers

Probably this is very intriguing radio clip of Matt I have ever listened to! Matt says he started playing guitar about age 7 as his dad taught his how to play. It was very sweet of him saying he bought Dire Straits concert tickets for his dad with the saving from delivering milk in the mornings as a young lad. He also bought an electric guitar for his dad soon he became a Blue Peter presenter. He reveals his children are learning music at school. Molly has started learning violin which she is quite good at and Luke is playing guitar. He has variety of musical instruments at home cos he has bought all sort of musical instruments when he travelled all over the world as a Blue Peter presenter. What a musical instruments geek! And they always play music at home so Nicola always tells him off to shut up. Poor Nicola! Nutty boy was giggling when he said that.

Looks like Matt’s appearance on strictly has become the distance memories in the eyes of the viewers. Actually the photo of Mattiona was from series 8 final night at the BBC TV Centre. Not at Blackpool. Well, it was 6 years/over half a decade ago so fair enough.
