Evening all

Very cold here today, but no rain or snow yet.

A brilliant cf tonight, prince charles certianly get stuck in with all the different vts and visits. Would seem he got quite a GSOH which doesn't really come across most of the time.
So very very close to do some supporting duties with the visit to the school as i lived up the road, looks as matt had a good chance for fair bit of food tasting while he was there, probably a good job it's not a girls school anymore, there would have been thudded bodies everywhere.

great bits with matt chatting with prince c and hedge laying, stripping off as he had got to hot while swinging his axe while making the hedge row.

Matt looked great, good bit of stubbleage.

Expect it was great to see the local school on cf tonight SkyBlue! Was filmed some time ago wasn't it. Lovely footage of Matt with P Charles and Jamie O, Matt looked very gorgeous.

Made me laugh on here (DS) as we mentioned hedge laying on cf, and immediately an ad appears advertising hedge laying services. Not exactly a service one wants on a daily basis

wonderful cf, Matt getting all steamy and taking his jacket off

that was a very welcome diversion

P Charles was very jovial throughout the programme and relished the opportunity of promoting organic farming, saving rare breeds and keeping traditional farming skills alive. It'll get a very good viewing figure.

Busy weekend so not on here much but nice to see Katenbarn and dancing girl and olivej dropping by

Snowy weather approaches

PC a very charming guest and interesting and passionate about his farming.Obviously doing a little business with AH along the way.

Well we were all getting a little steamy

when cetain items were being discarded and the thudding nationwide was quite audible. Loved JBs designer countryware - obviously dressed for the "Royal" occasion whilst PC had been at the scarecrow for his hedging attire - looked quite ethnic as well

RM was a good guest on Thuddsday (just caught on i player) and loved his best guest/worst guest . Good for him. The mind boggles at the "tap dancimg lessons" and nothing to do with CF. Watch this space. Well we all wanted to see the derriere in action again............................

Great Countryfile last night

. Lovely section with the school and the hedge laying was fun. Inevitably there were a few moans online from people who thought Matt should have shaved but I very much doubt Prince Charles cared which is all that matters. And Matt is arranging the purchase of some sheep for his paddock from Prince Charles's farm so I guess they got on OK

(He's also cheekily getting help from one of the staff to teach him how to cut his apple trees properly too)

Rating wasn't up as much as I thought it would be - I suspect the Dancing on Ice final and Crufts final took some potential viewers. This is from the Telegraph:

BBC1's Countryfile, which welcomed Prince Charles as its guest editor to celebrate its 25th anniversary programme, drew 7.2 million viewers, a 28.7% share, between 7pm and 8pm.

It was the 2nd highest rated programme of the night still behind Call the Midwife

. With some people he would have been wrong whatever he did. The whole show seems to have gone down very well anyway. On PoV there's very little comment so far, which means no one can find anything bad to say

Afternoon

Snow flurries and a biting wind, and I shall have to go out later

Great ratings for last night's CF....we all knew it would do well

I was forced to watch it for a second time last night which was a great hardship

Purely for educational purposes to see the hot and difficult work involved in hedge laying....

Haven't caught sight of who's on OS this evening but we do have Ms H*rt. Not everyone's favourite but at long as she's polite to our man, I'll let her get on with her falling-down act.

Evening all

How's everyone, not to cold with a blast of winter that we've had today, had a bitterly cold strong wind all day, snow on and off all morning a day for hibernating

Great tos tonight, nice and relaxed, Warwick was a funny guest, getting a few jokes in

didn't realise it was that long ago, i do like the film.
Matt looked gawgus, great colour shirt, nice stubble, very bouncy and tiggery tonight

Poor miranda for all her comedy falling over to does it for real and injuries herself.

Brilliant rating for cf with 7.2m and coming 2nd for the most watched prog of the night and beating doi again.

Star it was good the boys school on the telly with matt there, it was filmed back in nov.

Morning all. Hate posting 3 times in a row but there's a ratings update for last night 4.93m

No percentage share yet as I found that on Attentional but it was the highest rated "Factual Entertainment" show of the night. That seems a pretty good figure so I guess Comic Relief tie in is helping get some attention.

Thanks KK for all the lovely picspams, still haven't started on the bright salmon pink jumper ones let alone any of the others. Not like me to fall behind with the pics

I love them so much!

On Breakfast Telly this morning MH was on - lots of chat about her injured leg and also a small clip of the defuzzing capers on last night's OS. Then she mentioned that she and Pasha would be performing an SCD type dance tonight as her next CR challenge. For some bakerettes, Pasha and Matt in the same studio might bring on a fatal thud

Have to say she's a game lady undertaking some nice and not-so-nice forfeits in order to raise cash for CR

She failed in her world record attempt but really it's just 'doing something funny for money'. It's all in a great cause.

Good viewing figures for yesterday's edition of the One Show and during the lead-in to RND I expect there will be a fair sized audience each night.

All good news for our favourite presenter and his masters.....

cos isnt the challenge from Manchester. Oh well 2 for the price of one though and terminal thudding will take place in some B*******e homes I feel sure

WD a lovely guest -am sure the figures will be on the rise this week as RND will be a factor, My last T1S of the week as duty calls for the next two evenings

Wonder if we'll find out any more about the "tap dancing".

Our dreams could be realised soon!!!!!

The Masterchef duo are guests on The One Show tonight. Can't stand them but at least there should be food

No snow here, looks as if it has been bad down by the coast and over the other side of the channel.

A good tos tonight greg and john were ok, they didn't bring any food in for matt, even tho they were plugging the great british menu, greg seem quite pleased with his plasticine figurine of himself
Miranda dance was more of a shuffle than a dance, can't have been easy doing in on a bad knee

Matt was looking lovely tonight plenty of unbuttonage and stubble, great bonus standing up at the end

So tonight on the OS it's a singer called Josh Gr*ban. He was on Graham N's show recently and was quite a funny man as well as having a terrific voice so he should be an excellent guest. Perhaps he and Matt will have a sing-off for CR - I can but dream

Yesterday's edition was great with John and Greg, will have to give it a second viewing as I was rather distracted with Matt's vicar shirt and contents therein
