Thanks for the additional pics KK - think we are all toga-ed out now! What a fantastic thrill it gave us yesterday - we are still thudding away like good'uns tonight

It was another good OS again tonight, Len and Kev being interesting guests. I particularly liked the sparring between LH and Matt especially when Matt compared the space in the caravan as larger than that of a Prem**r I*n room (cos that's what LH advertises). Matt was very quick off the mark with that one

And didn't he look lovely in that dark blue shirt - very tasty........

It has been decided that our man has a very nasty cough at the moment and requires some attention

There might be one or two people offering to help out

Only one more OS with MrB this week and then famine until Monday - why does that hour go so quickly

On the 24th of March Countryfile came from the Golden Valley (the Black Mountains version). Matt was sheep farming including a visit to a farmer with a hot tub (which Matt sadly didn't use) and llama racing

A really good show tonight, alison was a great guest.
Matt was in a impish mood tonight taking the mick out of the jubliee and the boats going down the canal

cheeky raise of the eyebrow and a huge grin after saying it

Looking fab in his pink shirt, too buttoned up tho.

Fingers crossed for a sunny hot day tomorrow where ever matt is filming, we might just get a tshirt

Thanks for these kk. Masses of lovely photos! I'm going to have to skip through picspams or I'll never get through the backlog I've built up. I can't seem to really concentrate for the time being anyway (medicaments I think). Am really enjoying flipping through them, if not always commenting

Dan Keating was pulled out before the Olympics due to injury as I heard about it on the East Midlands News. Now he’s back and won the gold. I remember Matt mentioned about him on the Olympics Men’s Teams Final that the other boys watching at home, the like of Dan Keating would be so proud of the boys (Team GB). Matt is always informative, enthusiastic and very empathetic.

After we are having a Mattfull week, we are going to have a clip show on CF next week and possible a Mattfree CF a week after next week. Oh well, we have to compromise.”

Matt was at the Salford studios (where BBC Sport are based) presenting the gym coverage on Friday-Sunday. On Saturday it was not televised - red button only - so he wasn't visible on screen.

With him in the studio were Jenny Pinches, Kristian Thomas, and Louis Smith. Then there was a commentary team in Moscow with Christine Still and Craig Heap - Mitch Fenner wasn't available as he was coaching the Dutch team.

Matt still did commentary most of the time too - which really impressed me because he was doing that even though he wasn't in the same location as the event. Louis also did commentary on the pommel horse final and he was very good at that - but I'm not sure he has the all around knowledge to cover the other disciplines too. It was really good coverage, I watched it knowing the results and still wasn't tempted to fastforward everything. Matt was very much in control and handled the split role very well.

I don't usually watch Masterchef - find it all a bit pretentious. But I got caught up in the Tuscany show this week so watched the rest. Was happy with the result. Tuscan food though really is the best in the world. Simple and excellent.
Back to Matt. Not keen on the contrasting collar shirts but this one is not too bad I suppose. It's a good fit anyway, and Matt's eyes look so wonderfully clear in all these pics. Lovely man

She landed face down flat on her belly. She was clearly upset. It might not physically hurt her but psychologically she needed a huge courage to pick herself up and carried on which was what she did. A brave soul! Matt did mention that she scored 14.700 in the qualification round. It didn't go quite well as expected on the uneven bar, she finished top 7 after all-round so not a bad result, wasn’t it.

It's the Young Farmer's AGM in Blackpool this weekend and Matt is there. He's had some interviews this afternoon which will be online in a bit about the end of his time as the President of NFYFC as his 2 years are up now. Hi Rita, how are you? Feeling better? Nice to see you here. So you watched a Mattless Gym Euro Championships at the hospital. I missed out all-round finals highlights aired on 20 April Friday cos I was at work. Just managed to capture a few pics. It was repeated on red button on Sat 21 April and I didn’t watch it properly. I thought I was recording it but the recording stopped for no good reason

so I made sure not to miss the live ones – the individuals finals.

This shirt doesn’t fit well on his body. Some of his shirts are nicely tailored so they nicely fit on him but some are not and this grey shirt is one of them. I like this nicely tailored blue shirt; he wore on Friday all-round final chatting to Kristian, Hannah and Louis:

He has been a busy boy, unsurprisingly, hasn’t he? Nice shirt, jeans and shoes. Shirt needed one button undone.

Fabulous rowing pics, Looking forward to next week CF. It really reminds me of Matt presenting Olympics London 2012 daytime programs. Now he himself is in a row boat. It seems he got a good instructor in Olympics champion Peter Reed.

It was v unlikely Matt would have managed to attend yfc posh dinner last night after CF filming all day but great to know he’s there today,

He must be shattered though.

It won't be next weeks Countryfile

. They film just under 2 weeks in advance usually and next week Matt will be in Portsmouth at the Historic Dockyard climbing the rigging of HMS Warrior. The rowing will air in a fortnight I think

What happened to Summer this morning - temp dropped by about 5 degrees since yesterday but dsome improvement this pm

Rita - Hope you are feeling better after your hospital stay

Well El Presidente has retired - the Kleenex will be much in evidence. Perhaps they'll get a donkey ride on beach and a candy floss..

Havent seen much of T1S this week except for The Toga (who can forget it) but did I spy blue shoes with the blue shirt On wednesday

Loved AM as a guest. She joined in well with randomness that is T1S. Loved the quip abou the Beeb and boats. At least they can laugh about it .

Well no prescence on CF this weekend but seems T1S on on BH Monday

Afternoon -The OS doesn't not take a break tomorrow so I hope Matt has a restful day today with team B. It would be nice if the weather is dry and sunny tomorrow so the OS team can make some outdoor shooting. I can only hope.

Oh yes, you are right. How comes I forgot about CF filming takes two weeks ahead. I read Matt's behind the scenes article on CF April edition. He did mention about it and I forgot about it. That's the effects of seeing his rowing pics!

Evening all. I'm feeling okay thanks, but the medication I'm taking means I'm sort of spaced out and floating a lot of the time - which is why my presence here and elsewhere is a bit erratic for the moment. It will be that way for the next 12 weeks until things get sorted out - then we'll see what's next. Sorry if I'm not fully with things for the moment.

So Matt's term as El Presidente comes to an end. On the one hand it's a shame as I get the impression he's enjoyed doing it. On the other hand, he does have an awfully busy schedule and it will probably benefit his family life to have one less thing to worry about. That's not to say he won't jump headlong into whatever is thrown in his path next of course. We'll see
