Not sure if matt getting pied was planned, they may have put matt near the table just in case ricky did decided to pie someone else, as he would take it in good fun, i don't think alex would have been pleased if it had been her. No ricky not the most pleasant and i can't real say why i don't like him

What made me think it was planned is Matt's lack of reaction - he didn't even flinch which I think you would if something unexpected came at your face - and Alex didn't act surprised though she tried to. At any rate it was taken in good fun by all concerned I thought, and Matt, with his second pie for Ricky proved himself to be a good sport but nobody's fool

Thanks for these extra pics Emma. I'm slowly catching up here - with posts as well as picspams. I agree with you about the fit of some of Matt's shirts. They're so much nicer, whatever the colour, when they are a snug fit. He has such a beautifully shaped body it's worth making sure the fit is good. Don't suppose he cares though

A really good tos with a good range of guest, the wildlife and ice aged beast programme look good, very nice to see the YF on there as well.

Matt looked very good tonight, a very nice pale blue shirt, a good fit and plenty of wow's, lovely close ups and the stubble is looking good, he was nice and bouncy, he got the one of the highest scores grammer test

Former El Presidente is still playing a key link between the yfs and the nation putting them straight into the public eyes. And he scored 8 on grammar test. He probably would like to score a perfect-10. I don’t know much about the guets but was an interesting an hour show overall.

Yes, you are right Rita. If the shirt is nicely tailored, it fits on him well so looking-great whatever the-colour is. If not it may fit his shoulders but loosen around the underarms and chest areas. That doesn’t look good in my eyes. He has a big check shirt he wore on CF with a body warmer on. I hated it. Hope Nicola put it in the big farm box that he mentioned on last week the OS.

Yeah, Katya was lovely. She did a very good job with Gav. I love Katya and Aliona’s boot-camp, very funny. Claudia was really great too. Hello Christmas, caterpillar, underwater summersaults and sliding down the stairs were my favourite lines she mentioned in that ITT clip (if you know what I mean.) I missed her though Zoe was a good replacement.

It’s understandable that Aliona was happy to have Matt as a partner, isn’t it. He always praised her how amazing teacher she was and she seemed thrilled.

I’ve seen Matt and Zoe’s clips before. They learnt 2 dances in 4 days, considering Zoe’s taking the lead took time to get them back on track. Their early dances weren’t that good. The other pairs weren’t good either. Saw a few same sex pairs if I wasn’t mistaken. My tutor who is taking ballroom lesson said foxtrot is a very difficult dance. She said she could only learn 8 moves out of 16 so far.

I think Matt and Aliona would be the perfect couple to make a program about to show what Strictly is all about. There was so much happening, so many challenges and some ups and downs but it had drama, tension entertainment and humour and is also a great example of achievement.

Some people were not happy that Matt didn't win, but he was up against IMO the best dancer there has ever been on the show in Kara and with Artem being very good and their romance, I wasn't surprised when Kara won.

Matt and Aliona did get everything else that was worth getting out of the experience and you can see Aliona was in tears in this ITT at Matt's praise for her and how he wouldn't change a thing about the whole experience. Matt is very eloquent and tells it like it is, so when he praises you it means a lot.

Not one of my favourite looks this, but I must say the jumper is quite a nice fit.
I like Sheila Hancock but not so much when she does documentaries. Prefer her as an actress. Good to see her looking like her old self again though. By which I mean I thought she was quite sad for a very long time after her husband's death. Now she seems better.

With being on holiday I haven't had much chance to post but just seen last night's rating and couldn't resist updating. The One Show got 4.16m (22% share) which for the hour show on Wednesday is remarkable! Guess the football on ITV wasn't much of a draw

Matt’s enthusiasm, being nice and funny are the remarks we used to hear from those who has met and worked with him. Matt seems to be a bit of fan of a sporting hero as Pete and his team mates won gold in while Matt was presenting the London 2012 events.

Matt in jumper tonight…shirt looks trendy …he seemed he was ready for CF filming.

And I couldn’t believe my eyes when the big strong man lifting Matt and Alex together.

Oh that was their last ITT appearance…a very moving video clip I have to say fatskia. Matt gave Aliona credits in every opportunity but if you were Aliona and just heard your partner’s dad said that he thought his son’s success was down to you and saw that you were a rock, you would be moved greatly, wouldn’t you. Very lovely humble Baker family; they clearly valued her. I think she was deeply touched by their sincere praises so it brought her in tears.

I really wanted to see Matt and Aliona win to be honest ...my inclination was if Kara and Artem won it would be a close call. It was a toughest finale; the finalists were highly competitive, Kara was really great in all-round, so was Matt in all-round talent-wise. But lack of practicing hours and work involving physical activities give him some disadvantages. He could have well executed his routines otherwise. I wasn’t too upset they didn’t win but so delighted when they won the live tour and became the champions. Countryfile team followed Matt during the live tour and Matt got saddle sores which made Aliona worried but they were unstoppable.


That interview was great, they both really cheeky, very funny.
